I’m attempting to rejoin you all and get my ass back in gear, lose some weight, not eat garbage, and run fast again. To that end I’m tracking food on MFP and activity/calorie burn with my garmin vivoactive 3.
I have my garmin set up to sync my steps and workouts and it’s giving me ~450 cal for steps and ~650 for my workout today. However I cannot determine if it’s double counting the steps during my workout into both. Anyone know how that works?.I’ve got my activity level set to sedentary if it matters.
Also, why does my garmin tell MFP I’m running 11:30/12 minute miles for anything slower than a 10 min/mi? Is it using elapsed time instead of working time??? This is super petty I know.
Hi there! While I haven't been faithful to MFP for ...ahem....a while, from what I recall when I had my fitbit synced up it did not double count my steps and my workout. I also had it sent to sedentary. I can confirm that it does default to 12min miles for me even if it's between 10-11, etc. That's when runtastic app translates over, so it must be something in the software. It bugs me...every second counts.
