I take it easy the day after long runs. I try to get my legs moving, which usually means going on a walk and doing some light stretching. Swimming and gentle yoga are also good.
I just had the most amazing morning. The whole family went to the gym so everyone is happy. I used their hyperbolt gun/vibrating thingy on my hip flexors and glutes and calves, the vibrating foam roller on my legs. Stretched and stretched some more.
Headed to the 95 degree pool and floated on 4 noodles in the pool by myself. I was staring up at the glass ceiling watching the leaves whirl around while the sun warmed my back. Talk about mindfulness!!!
Then into the steam room, sauna and shower. I’m sipping fruit infused water while waiting for my husband to finish up.

Right choice!
Your gym sounds amazing! Do I want to know how much it costs? Although it would probably offset some of massage costs!
