icedcoffee how did your cycle finish out? I hope you got some great blasts! stellelinds25 did you finally start your period?
My body is trolling the shit out of me. I think I might start my cycle early, maybe tomorrow. I know it really doesn’t matter because we are just rolling into another FET but the short LP is throwing me off.
seeyalater52, They called yesterday with my day 5 report and out of 7 fertilized they froze 1 blastocyst that I think they told me was grading BXAB which doesn't sound like any grading I've ever heard before but they assured me was "a really nice looking blast". They are watching the other 6 today. So....not the greatest news, but not the worst. Hopefully that little blast is all I need it, but hopefully the other 6 catch up.
As a reference point, of the 10 we had fertilize 2 years ago most of them had stopped developing by day 5 so this is looking better than that. On day 5 we had 1 blast that we transferred and I think 4 morulas. We transferred 1 morula and 1 of the other ones basically exploded as we were there for transfer and the other 2 stopped developing that night.
Soooo---fingers crossed for a good day 6 report.
I got my period yesterday so I went in for my baseline check today. They saw 2 cysts, but they made it seem like that's normal and shouldn't change things. Will have to wait for the bloodwork though to see if I can start Estrace tonight.
I hear you on body trolling. My body decides to do the weirdest things when we cycle. I hope you do get it soon so you can get the show on the road!

icedcoffee it sounds like they’re all still in the game which is great news! Congrats on one blast and hopefully today on day 6 you’ll have a nice haul. I’ve never seen that grading before, it doesn’t sound like Gardner.
Hopefully my period will start soon and we will be transfer buddies!
icedcoffee fingers crossed for a good day 6 report, but yay for a day 5 blast!
This cycle has flown by, I looked at my chart today and realized I needed to schedule (and get) the lining check this week. Normally I am analyzing and googling everything under the sun during a cycle but I this time I'm very detached. I suspect its because after 2 miscarriages back to back, even if I get a positive I'll still be waiting for the bad news. In more positive news we will be going to Disney a little more than a week after the transfer so either way I'll have something to distract myself.

I FINALLY got my period!! I've never been so happy to see that B show in all my life. I emailed the IVF nurse this morning to see if any spots opened up in the current cycle or if I still have to wait. I feel terrible hoping some woman's cycle got cancelled like mine did...but it is what it is. At the very least, I'll go for a repeat endometrial biopsy in the next week or so to see if the bacteria I've been dealing with has cleared up. I also just got off the phone with my new insurance to see what they need as far as pre-auth for ordering meds. I feel like it's a pre-requisite for insurance companies to be infuritating. It took 3 people, but I finally got the answers I needed.
icedcoffee hoping for a great 6-day report for your little embies!
DH and I just got back from vacation which was less than relaxing but I think I'm really going to have to find a new fertility clinic. I LOVE where I am however their billing department is run by a bunch of monkeys. Seriously they can't do anything right. I had a cyst aspiration which they billed me at $1994 however my EOB from my insurance is saying I owe $1500. They can't explain to me WHY there's a difference. They're also billing me a copay everytime I go for monitoring (which is correct) however on the bill the dates of service are not dates I went for monitoring. We're self pay for treatment so IUI and IVF are 100% out of pocket except for monitoring which is $60 (co pay). I keep detailed records and save EVERYTHING. Literally updating a spreadsheet the day of monitoring and yet they can't keep my account up to date. I love my Dr and the nursing team assigned to me. We're looking at IVF since I have failed IUI's but that's a heafty bill of $11k for 1 cycle and I'm actually considering traveling 6 hrs away for IVF for a bill of 3k and doing monitoring at my OB's office.

I'm just in a waiting game now... we're still going to give it a try this month on our own just for grins but I'm not hopeful it'll work. Should hear back from my labs later this week (though I cannot remember what all was being tested :/) and then other tests taking place in next few weeks.

I would have totally done this! Can you use the out of town clinic but go to the RE local to you for monitoring? That's what I'm dong (different reasons - we moved before our FET) but it was definitely better using an RE for monitoring than OB because they are better about same day results back to you "home" clinic, usually have labs onsite, etc.

I might explore both options.
I thought about doing this. The clinic out of town (CNY fertility) will bill it as ovarian issues to get insurance to cover monitoring appts however the RE clinic I went to for my IUI's will not accept that and change it as out of pocket ($250-$500 each monitoring). I left a message with my OB's office to see if they can do monitoring otherwise some of the hospitals will do it. It's more stress on my part doing coordination but for the big price difference it might be worth it. I like the RE I'm at now for a variety of reasons (dr, nurse, same day results) however the issues with finance are enough to make me leave.

4 of the 6 they were watching are still dividing, but they're not blasts yet so they are watching them and will make a final decision tomorrow (day 7).
I think we're only going to get the 1 blast they've already frozen.
My progesterone is still too high to start meds for FET so we need to wait 1 more day and go back for bloodwork tomorrow.

The line at the pumpkin patch for food was really long yesterday and my H was itching to go home and watch football so I made my H go to the store and get me apple cider and powdered donuts. I want to go home and wallow with these. LOL
I'm just waiting for my biopsy and blood works results to come back for now. I'm also working on pulling the info together to ship our 2 frozen embryos from our old clinic in WA to our new one here.

Blah.
Blah. I’m sorry it wasn’t a better update! Hopefully you get some day 7 stragglers but I have a lot of hope for your strong 5 day blast! Good luck with monitoring tomorrow.

Good luck! Hoping the shipping isn’t too much of a hassle and all goes well.

Thank you, I hope it's not as well! We shall see but the company came recommend by my current clinic so FX they are as good as the embryologist said!
Hey all! I’m in Japan this week for work. Tested yesterday at 10dpIUI and bfn. Will test again today but I don’t have high hopes. Ivf is next for us, hoping I qualify for a trial they are starting soon.

pooh8402 (or anyone else, but I know she dealt with this) Did you have your H stay on clomid between your failed IVF round 2 and 3? I told him on egg retrieval day he could stop it, but now that we only have 1 blast I'm thinking maybe he should go back on it. I guess there's no harm (though--I do think it makes him a bit crazier than normal--LOL). Thoughts?
Actually, DH got on the clomid after failed IVF #2, mostly because of the poor embryo quality from that cycle. We were successful with IVF #3 with 4 good blasts frozen, so he stopped it. He didn't even finish it, actually. So he only did Clomid for one cycle and we saw a huge difference.
In your H's case, I would talk with his urologist but probably keep taking it unless told otherwise. Is he taking Fertilaid? DH's urologist had him on that too.

Gotcha. He's not on Fertilaid. We may add that if this FET doesn't work. I'll probably tell him to start taking the Clomid again just in case since it takes 3 months to see a difference. He's been on it since the end of July. Stupid sperm.
ETA: He probably needs to call the urologist for a refill anyway.

icedcoffee I’m so sorry you didn’t get better news today. I think it’s really smart you’re thinking ahead about your DH’s medication and supplements just in case but I’m so hopeful for you that you’ll have success with that 5 day blast. Hang in there.
