Happy Monday! Weekend was good. I took my other daughter, her boyfriend and another one of her friend's to see Ed Sheeran on Saturday and it was a lot of fun. He's sooo talented! We also got Halloween stuff lined up, so we're good to go this weekend. Yesterday, I had brunch with friends and then ran errands with my friend. She gets wiped out after a few minutes of walking around, so I pushed her around in a wheelchair so she could get the stuff she needed.
Random...this morning I was talking to a coworker I kinda know. She's all "are you dating a middle-aged banker?" lol...uh, kinda! She's friends with one of his friend's wives and apparently were talking about me over the weekend. She told them, if it was me, I was a lot of fun lol.

It's Monday, that's for sure.
My weekend started off shitty because I found out that one of my friends died Friday morning. We're all still struggling a bit, his funeral is tomorrow.
Saturday I worked and then got my haircut then hit a pub for food then went to a rare beer fest. The beer fest was super fun and I needed the distraction.
Sunday was DD's birthday, we made it a really good day.

Weekend was good but pretty low key.
Friday night P and I did a spontaneous date night and went out to dinner. Saturday I went to the market with a friend. I felt bad as she's kind of struggling right now. I went shopping after and bought some new boots I've been lusting over as they were on sale. Then said friend came over for a drink.
Sunday I went to a photo editing class. While it wasn't super in depth, it was well worth the $20 I paid. Then I make potato leek soup (mmmm...soup) and P and I watched some football.
I had a wonderful weekend... we made it to the beach, and even though I really wanted a drink after that long ass drive, I'm still sober! Jekyll Island is beautiful, of course, and the weather is gorgeous. We can't walk straight out to the beach because they're doing a beach recovery project. Apparently the beach is eroding, so they're piling giant rocks between the beach and the sea. Yay global warming. But there are other places where we can get to the beach, so we've been able to walk, and we've ridden bikes around the island, and we've eaten some amazing seafood and BBQ.
The weekend was a combo of fun, surprising and letdowns.
I went to a metal show with a guy I've been seeing for about a month. It was super fun, met a lot of his friends who talked him up a bunch, and he asked me to be his girlfriend at the end of the night. Very sweet, right?..... but i asked him if we could talk about it more later this week. It's been a shitty world in the last month or two, dating wise, but am not sure yet if this guy is it.
I had another date planned with someone on sunday who seemed very cool, but after i asked him on saturday to confirm where, he disappeared. This has happened so. Many. Times. More than any other time I've dated. It's fucking nuts, you guys. No date, or one date, then ghost. Incredibly disappointed in the humans with testicles right now.
My weekend was awesome. Friday we had our home inspection. First the pest control guy gushed about the house then the inspector said that in his 25 years of doing home inspections he hasn’t seen one as well built as this. It really made us feel awesome that we got an amazing home. We spent about 3 hours there total and even started planning some furnishings.
Saturday little C had a soccer game which my parents came to. They talk non-stop. I think I blocked this fact out living farther away for so long. I’m happy to be living so close to them now though. It’s so cool to be able just call them up and say, “hey, wanna grab lunch?”. Saturday night C made dinner and we just relaxed.
Sunday we did a big Target run then went to a sports bar to have lunch and watch some football.
Today I flew to Charleston which is where I sit now...
cuddlyevil I'm so sorry about your friend. All the hugs.
My weekend was good, I felt great on Saturday when I went to a cider tasting event. Sunday I started to feel sick again, so I didn't do much of anything. I did have a date that went pretty well, so we'll see how that goes.
The chiropractor I met back in August will be in town next month. We've been texting already and he was texting me this weekend from Italy. He's not relationship potential, but it'll be a fun weekend when he's here.
