I went in for my follow-up post D&C yesterday. It turns out my PGS "normal" embryo actually had trisomy 13. My home RE seems to think my baseline FSH is too low (my LH could be off, too?) and my eggs don't mature right, but that everything else is fine. When I google, it looks like below 7 is actually good for FSH, but that "too low" can cause issues (thanks, internet). Mine was 3.8 at the beginning of my FET cycle. I'm thinking about asking them to test it again next week on CD3.
Mine at the start of everything with the initial set of blood work (back in April) was 8.3 The RE never commented that about the number and we started with IUI's.

Thank you all! That range is helpful scm1011. And I can see my numbers (across multiple months) are generally are low, but I'm not sure that's bad? icedcoffee, I'd be pretty surprised? But you never know. stellelinds25, if we do it again, I'd still want to do PGS. It's not a guarantee the good ones are good, but it's extremely likely the 'bad' ones are abnormal, so at least I'm not going to have two more miscarriages with my remaining embryos, KWIM? seeyalater52, looks like you are right in the middle of normal for your age

My fsh was 13.5. My Amh is low. Ironically I havenβt had trouble getting pregnant, but I do have trouble staying pregnant. But the last two losses were genetically normal, including normal micro array on the most recent loss. One of the re drs I saw initially blamed my losses on poor egg quality, but changed her mind when she heard genetically normal. Not sure if my labs are related to the losses, but with the puzzle pieces I have, my providers donβt think so.
My FSH ranges from 5-13, my RE says that they like to see it below 10. My RE believes that high FSH indicates either, poor egg quality or quantity. For me, my amh was also low.
FSH fluctuates each month but most REs are with the belief that your FSH is the highest number.
Mine was 5.7 about a year ago. Normal values in the follicular phase from that lab is 3.5-12.5. So according to that lab, OP's 3.8 is normal. Mine was 4.7 about a year and a half ago.
Fwiw, my LH at that time was 6.8 (normal is 2.4-12.6). And 8.8 about a year and a half ago.
FSH being on the low side is not a bad thing. It means your body doesnt need to produce a lot of FSH in order to stimulate follicles.
I know my AMH stays >12, which is typical for PCOS, but is quite high. That's what made me high risk for OHSS.
I don't even think they did my FSH. Is that possible? I don't see it in any of my labs.
so when I started doing testing and treatments in late 2013, they only tested FSH if your AMH was low. That was the normal protocol. By 2015 the standard changed and regardless of AMH numbers they would test your FSH.
So depending on your last rounds of testing you may not have actually had that tested?

Mine was tested in 2015 and it was around 2.
Interesting. We started testing in 2015 so who knows. It's totally possible they did test it. They don't always post stuff to the portal. Very inconsistent. I know my H had his tested because I have his results. LOL

icedcoffee, I would guess they tested for it at some point, because it helps them decide what dose of meds you need and if you are entering DOR territory. My AMH however, was not tested until we did IVF.
