I made a new post but if you haven't heard, sephora is letting Rouge and VIB shop this weekend with BI's. Same codes as last time. Fri-Mon. ETA correction: the code for VIB/Rouge is ENJOY, not the same code as last time.
I got both of my orders yesterday. I tried the Josie Maran Vibrancy concealer and the Hourglass setting powder and really like both! No creasing under my eyes so far.
Now that we get a discount again this weekend I'm going to get the full size of the Hourglass powder. It's so pricey! I wanted to try the CT powder, but it was always sold out. I don't need to try it now.
I got the Kevin Aucoin nude pop (?) shadow palette and it looks beautiful and gets good reviews online. I can't wait to try it out.
What kind of sorcery is the DE C-Tango eye cream?! B/c I have put it on twice in 24 hours, and I swear to god, my intractable dark circles already look better. Is this for real? Am I imagining it?!
centralsquare, I told you! This is the only eye cream that I've found that does squat about my dark circles. Mine aren't gone, but they are significantly diminished, to the point that I don't feel self conscious if I don't use concealer.

Thanks!
Clearly I am ordering now. I got a couple sample sizes, but it doesn't seem like it will last me until the April sale.
The Kevyn Aucoin Nudepop eye palette is really nice. The mattes are so easy to use and blend. The glitter shadows would probably benefit from a glitter glue. This is the first item I've tried from that brand and will consider other items in the future.
I really love the Pat McGrath Metalmorphosis "mini" palette. I'm undecided on the one in the red packaging. I ended up ordering the one with the blue shadow, because I couldn't stop thinking about it.
Another thing I got that I'm liking so far is the Bite agave lip balm. I liked the Verb Ghost shampoo & conditioner the first time I used it yesterday, but of course we'll see how they hold up over time. My hair is super shiny with it, which is nice.

I bought a new boar bristle hair brush and used it and one of the LM caviar sticks today (amethyst). My hair is so silky and soft and it took basically no time to dry, but it had a weird smell, probably from just coming out of the packaging. I loved how little product I needed to get full coverage with the caviar stick, but I can see the color being buildable as well. Can’t wait to try the rest of the set. The only possible miss was the LM tinted moisturizer. I got the oil free version and the smell as I was applying was a bit overwhelming- very sunscreen-y. Didn’t have great staying power even with primer and setting spray, but will probably be good for weekends. Going to give it another try on Friday when I have off.

Have you tried the Nars TM? It's got a little more coverage than the LM but still pretty light coverage, I vastly prefer it to the LM.
Oh and I made a last minute order last night of 5 YSL and Guerlain lipsticks that were on sale so the total was like 89 for the 5 of them?
Oh and I returned the Korres set because the wild rose oil smelled like vomit to me. And returned the Tatcha Obento box kit I got (unused) because I really only wanted to try the primer and I ended up instead ordering one of the $10 sephora bags that had a deluxe sample size of it.

The smell of Korres oil IS absolutely horrid. I had received a deluxe sample of it years ago and tossed it almost immediately.

I’ve tested it at Sephora but I’ve never seen a Nars foundation or concealer that wasn’t too yellow for my skin. I am very very pink. The Sephora match tool also said it isn’t a match for me.

I have pink in my skin and foundation is super hard. The best matches have been Armani luminous silk and dior full body. I’ve tried a ton of foundations and B.B./cc creams and most don’t work. Those two are light to medium coverage.

I’m super pink too. Fenty has great pink undertones too. I wear 170. Dior Backstage is another with good pink undertones.
