I’m torn on this one. And nurses are split pretty evenly according to NPR. I think I’m voting no because my doctor’s office had a vote no on 1 sign. What about you?
After lots of back and forth I'm voting yes. I think everyone agrees that the law isn't perfect as is, but it will go through further tweaks before implentation and no matter what, it's a step in the right direction. All of my nurse friends (the majority at B&W) are voting yes, and frankly that's good enough for me. Also I find it suspect that hospital administrators are funneling so much money into fighting this, and are using misleading scare tactics to push no votes.
I'm voting no. The impression I'm getting is that the intentions are good, but as written it will backfire because of the pre-set limits. I think it's going to be a razor-thin margin no matter which way it goes.
Meanwhile it's crickets about Question 2, and I am seeing one local on FB who is voting no on Q3 while the rest of us are like WTF
