Aww, I'm sorry it was a rough day Mushe. I really have no insight on whether that's normal kid behavior of something to investigate further, just sending hugs. Your little guy has had a lot of big changes this year, but you seem really on top of things and I'm sure he'll come through just fine.

Hi everyone! My kids had a great Halloween. Multiple neighbors stopped by over the last week to make sure we knew the best area to go (a neighborhood a short walk away with LOTS of kids), and they had so much fun. DD started to get overwhelmed towards the end (too many dinosaurs! and "too many persons!"), but she was buoyed by the promise of eating candy when we got home.
Then they went to bed late and got up right on time and had a grumpy morning. They were irritating me so much I was ready to cancel next year's Halloween, but I kept it together and got us out of the house for a walk before the nanny showed up, and they really turned it around and are having a great time with her while I work.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

scm1011 Ugh, I can totally relate. The last 3 times, I had the super long call with the nurse before they would let me schedule with my OB, who would then move the appointment up because they wouldn't schedule me until I was like 10 weeks. This time, totally by coincidence, I got a positive test the day I was going in for recurrent yeast issue... so he was able to get me out of the nurse call completely. I was relieved with not having to relive the "oh congratulations, oh I see you lost the last 3" from the nurse too.
We had trick or treating this past Saturday. My kids did great - my daughter was an astronaut and my son was a construction worker. My mom made both costumes. The were both adorable and had a great time TOT, though both were totally exhausted by bedtime.
I was reading the 9 week info on the bump this week, and ha, very moody is exactly how I've been the last few weeks. I feel bad, and it's been worse this pregnancy than the prior ones. Not sure why, but hoping that it's something different than the last 3 and that's a good thing?

Halloween was fun, E was shy but liked riding in her wagon. She tried to give the candy back when people gave it to her, I was like, uh no no there kiddo, let's keep that for mommy.
This one nap schedule is hard to adjust to. She took a short nap so it felt like she was up forever until bedtime. She is overtired so of course she woke up after 30 minutes crying. She went back to sleep pretty quickly but has been restless ever since.

Ha, that could explain why I'm slightly rage-y this week at things that I normally wouldn't let bother me.

Yep, perfect description of how I feel as well. Hope it passes soon bc I am not a fan!

Huge hugs, woowoo. Halloween was always very hard for me as well.
It was good...raining and cold here so we only went to direct neighboring houses. J brought G to work during the day, so G was walking around in his owl costume and everyone was talking to him, so that was good enough in my book. J broke down and decided he wanted to take G trick-or-treating, last minute, so that's why it was only a few houses (and the weather was crap). Overall, a solid Halloween.
A loved Halloween this year! She went to lots of houses, and when we were finished she helped hand out candy at home. Not even sure which was her favourite part...

H was okay with trick-or-treating, but she loved handing out candy. We got tons of trick-or-treaters, it was almost nonstop for hours. She kept saying, "more friends are coming!" when she saw someone coming to the door, and then she insisted on handing out the candy to them. It was so cute.
And I finally got her to wear her cookie costume! PDQ:
(She was making a goofy face because she was just blowing the whistle she's holding.)
L was cranky, tired and fussy on Halloween (cold, ear infection, flu shot and teething... He's an unhappy camper right now) so we didn't even dress him in his costume and we never got a family pic. But I took pics of him over the weekend and he was the cutest little lion ever.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
Another ultrasound today, baby is measuring PERFECTLY at 9 weeks, 1 day. Perfect heartbeat at 165 bpm AND we could see him moving around! Freaking wild. I cried twice this morning getting ready for work I was so nervous.
Statistically speaking we have a very very good shot at bringing this baby boy home in May or June. I won't totally breathe until then, but this was a very good milestone.
