I am starting a mock embryo transfer cycle tomorrow for surrogacy. I will be doing estrogen patches, pills and progesterone pills. Any advice or suggestions? My lining a few weeks ago was 6.9 and they want between 8-12 by the end of the mock cycle.

You're taking meds for the mock cycle? For my mock embryo transfer we didn't do meds. They basically just practiced doing the transfer which was easy. Less painful than a pap smear. We started meds once we were going to cycle for real.
Are they doing a biopsy or scratch in conjunction with the mock transfer? Or just the mock up and bloodwork on psuedo transfer day? I'm so impressed by surrogates.

I had to do a mock cycle with meds before my donor egg cycle - it was to see how long it took my lining to thicken, so I could sync with the donor (and to make sure my lining would be thick enough before we went through the whole process of making embryos). I ended up doing a FET though. Progesterone tends to be leaky, so wear a pad. Depending on the type, you may need to do a, um, clean out every couple of days (crinone is particularly bad about clumping up). Sometimes estrogen made me a little queasy. Good luck!
I’m doing 2 weeks of Vivelle estrogen patches to see how much my lining thickens and then will start estradiol and prometrium. I will have bloodwork and lining checks at the one week and two week points. We will do a FET in Jan. And I will start Lupron and Estrogen in late December for that.
We are working with CCRM and this is their protocol if lining thickness isn’t where they want it during the initial medical workup.
