Tapering for Richmond in 2 weeks.

M: 6 miles and body pump T: 6 miles W: spin and body pump Th: 6 miles of hills F: 3 easy Sat: 10 miles Sun: Day trip to NYC to cheer for my friends running the marathon!

What's your training schedule this week? Su: 10 miles M: 4 miles and strength T: 8 w/ 4@tempo W: strength Th: 4 miles F: 18 miles Sa: rest Su: 8 w/ strides
Any vents/whines/grumbles? Getting over a bad cold & cough. I do okay during my runs, but will then hack for the next couple hours. My lungs need to get it together.
Any highlights or AWs? My first tempo during this training cycle and it went better than expected.
BONUS QUESTION! TRICK OR TREAT! If we were having an H&F Halloween party, what would you dress up as and what kind of candy would you hope for? I'm wearing my Caps jersey and going as a Stanley Cup Winner. My nut allergy kids give me all the good stuff so I'm good on candy!

What's your training schedule this week? Monday - pt and cycle Tuesday - yoga and swim Wednesday - long walk Thursday - pt and something, not sure what, though. Friday - weights and swim Saturday - not sure, it's DS's birthday party Sunday - also not sure
Any vents/whines/grumbles? Can I complain about my hip even though it's getting better? Because it's not going to be better enough to run Richmond
Any highlights or AWs? I jogged about 1.5 miles of the MCM 10k before my hip started hurting, which is a lot farther than I made it last time.
I did my whole half hour swim today with no pull bouy.

What are you training for? Date? Cyclocross, ongoing, National Championships in Dec.
What's your training schedule this week? Sat: CX race Sunday: CX race; I doubled up and did 2 Monday: 75 minute easy ride Tuesday: 18 mile moderate group ride Wed.: 60-75 minute ride w/spin ups Thursday-Friday: Off Sat.-Sunday: CX Races
Any vents/whines/grumbles? My back is a bit sore from racing this weekend.
Any highlights or AWs? I had my best CX races in 2 years this year on my favorite course of the year.

What's your training schedule this week? Mon - 50 min run, Tues - swim + strength, Wed - 5-6 miles w/ mile repeats, Thur - 45 min run, Fri - 1:45 min run + strength, Sat - Rest, Sun - run or cycling class?
Any vents/whines/grumbles? I need more sleep and time with my H. Life is busy. We get the kids to bed around 9, do chores, then it's bedtime around 10. I feel like I don't get any time to sit and hang out with H. We're in desperate need of a date night. We're going to see Anastasia in a few weeks at the Kennedy Center and I'm very excited about this. But I accidentally bought tickets for Sunday night instead of Saturday night and I'm annoyed that I have to get up to go to work the next day.
Any highlights or AWs? I had a blast cheering on people at the MCM and handing out water and candy. I also caught up with a few of my running buddies I haven't seen in a while.
NRR - We got second place in our neighborhood decorating contest! I'm very excited about this. The kids loved the decorations and had fun helping out. I already have a great idea for next year to step up our game and get 1st.

Any vents/whines/grumbles? Just trying to keep my shit together this week, stay in a positive head space, ignore the random back, ankle, hip, IT band etc pain and stay far far away from all the halloween candy.
