London Marathon fundraiser

Hi everyone!

In April, skwcm80 and I will be running the London Marathon for Genetic Disorders UK! This organization supports patients and families of those with genetic disorders, as well as providing education and resources. This cause is really important to us, because her son has a genetic condition (Diamond-Blackfan anemia, or DBA), and we both know many who have been directly affected by other genetic and rare conditions (including me!).

We will both be fundraising in the coming months, but in the meantime, I wanted to share something that is a way to help raise money for this cause. If you click through the link below and use either Gumdrop (on the page) or click the red "Go Shopping" button, our cause will receive a donation when you shop at any participating store! With the holidays coming up, this is an easy way to donate without thinking about it, and many of the click through links for online shopping have coupons as well! All of the money that we raise this way will be sent directly to the charity through our fundraising portal as soon as we receive it. Hey everyone!! Like fuckyourcouch mentioned we’ve both been touched by genetic disorders. Some well known and others (like my ds) not so much. Raising money for Genetic Disorders UK is perfect marriage of raising funds while doing what we love. As you can imagine every little bit helps so thank you in advance for your help.
