I swear I’ve tried every blush under the sun and after about an hour they all look brown on my face. Does this happen to anyone else? Do I need to do something different with my foundation/powder or does it depend more on the brand/color of the blush? I have very fair skin, and use CoxerFX foundation and setting powder.
I use CoverFX drops and setting powder, and I haven't had this problem. Maybe your skin is reacting differently to the foundation and it's really the foundation that is oxidizing on you. Try wearing the blush with no foundation or setting powder, like on a weekend when you aren't doing anything, to see what happens. If it is fine, then you'll know it's the foundation and/or powder.
I think I have the same problem with very pink blushes. They make my face look dirty, it’s so weird. I’m also very pale w/pink undertones. Personally I think I look best with nude colored blushes which might not work for you as they’re kind of on that brownish side. TF Baby Love and Becca Amaretto are favorites.
Have you tried going for red toned blushes or just straight up red ones like Nars Exibit A? I think these look really nice when applied lightly.

I wonder if the pink undertones cancel out the pink tones in your blush? Kind of like when you eat something before drinking wine, it will make other flavors more pronounced....

Interesting theory centralsquare,. My skin has pink undertones as well, and I feel like all blushes end up looking the same color on me. They start off the intended color, but kind of all fade to the same.

No because I’m scared of looking like a clown 😂 I do gravitate toward the same colors though, maybe I need to branch out. I have fair skin with yellow undertones.
I have the same problem with certain blushes turning brown. On me, cream and liquid blushes stay more true to color and I've never had the issue of them turning brown.

I think maybe trying cooler-toned blushes might help? I have a similar problem with lots of products (blush and lipstick especially). It's hard to find! I think that's why I like Dandelion blush, it stays fairly true to color on me.
