That is impressive! I have 1100 points and I'm $300 away from making Platinum again, lol.  So most of those points were from last year or before.  Since I won't make Platinum again I'll have to use them before they expire though...I was trying to save up to get to 2000 points since it's a better deal.

My ebates offer came on the 8th, so they seem to be slowly rolling them out. Very glad I got the bonus!! I'm disappointed that it happened after the sale, but I think I'll hold on to the card, and wait to see if Sephora sends around those $25 off $50 promo in December.

When is Ulta's next big "event" or points event or sale? Apparently I only need to spend $57 more dollars in 2018 to make platinum for next year and I'm trying to plan how/when/on what to spend that money

It's Trish Mcevoy water foundation. Amazing coverage, but very lightweight.

They have 3x the points going on right now. I think they had another 20% coupon in Dec last year but I’m not positive.

They do typically have a 20% off coupon that expires December 24. I know this because I usually hit Platinum with that coupon lol.

I didn't particularly care for the Fresh one but I am a firm believer in face oils as a step in skincare. Rosehip oil has been especially good to me (in the past, not this most recent cancer fighting year) but there are so many good ones.

So.. Turns out I have an allergy to the Bite Agave Lip Mask. Numb, peeling, swelling. It happened two years ago and I wasn't sure if it was the Bite mask or the YSL lipstain I was using. Now after using the Bite Mask for two weeks, it's happening again. I sent an email to Bite Beauty about it and I'm glad I saved the sephora receipt since I bought 3 of them during the Weekly Wow sale.

I’m sorry to hear that! I’ve been wondering about that myself.

persa, well that sucks. Even if you didn't have your receipt, if you used your VIB/Rouge account, they can look it up for a return.

Ah, for some reason I thought they did away with that and enacted a 60 day, receipt required policy several months back. OK I looked it up and there's some vague wording about "verified purchase" other than a receipt, so not sure if that means them looking it up on your account as you said, like they did before?

I’ve made a return recently and they looked it up on my account. Didn’t even ask if I had a receipt or not.

Oh, that stinks! I used to have a harder time hitting those levels when I bought more from Sephora, but the only brand I buy there now is Bite. I doubt I'll ever hit Diamond but I definitely surpass Platinum by mid-year or so.

I just used a foil packet of Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Cleansing oil and I’m in love with it. Good thing the sale is over, otherwise I’d be tempted to pick one up. I just can’t pay regular price for that though.

Why can’t I fall in love with something at drugstore prices?

Anyone have a favorite holiday lipstick?

Years ago, I got a deluxe sample of an Hourglass lipstick in the shade Icon. It was a GWP at Sephora. It's a gorgeous jewel toned blue-ish red. I typically prefer orange reds, but this one is lovely and puts me in a festive mood. I'm pretty sure I've never worn it outside of the holidays. I just pulled it out tonight because I'm thinking about makeup for an event in a couple weeks to confirm I still love it.

ESF, holidays are when I move to using reds again. So, no specific lipstick, but a colour.

I would check out Clinique's Cherry Pop. It was a GWP, but I pulled it out for the lipstick challenge (which I'm still slowly trying to complete.) It's more of a blue red, but still worked for me. And it's shiny! I wear a lot of creme/satin, so the shine makes it feel festive. (Note, it looks more orange on Temptalia than it does on me.)

Besame Cosmetics Victory Red is my favorite. I love it during the holidays and any other time I want a bold red lip. I also really like Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Hyde Park and Besame Cosmetics lipstick in Red Velvet.

They are amazingly pigmented and barely need to be touched up. Unless you kiss someone, then they will absolutely smear off and maybe stain the other person. . I definitely recommend trying one!
