Anyone have a good cranberry lipstick to recommend? Everything I have right now is too berry and I love a cranberry for thanksgiving lol. I’m leaning toward Mac Diva.

I have Mac Diva and it isn't what I would call cranberry, it's definitely a berry. Mac Diva is literally the matte version of Mac Darkside.
I suggest:
Mac Fire Roasted Bite Sour Cherry Bite Pomegranate Bite Gazpacho Bite Coulis
ETA: hmmm...I have a lot of Bite cranberry-ish lipsticks in my collection.
ETA 2: Nars Cruella! I found a non-bite one... LOL.

Haha yeah my problem is Bite irritates my lips and they have all the cranberries. My go to was their duo with tannin. I always forget about Cruella but I’ll check out Fire Roasted too.

I just want to pipe up that Bite products also irritate my lips and am reporting that NARS products do as well. (I discovered this after I spent an obscene amount on the audacious line.)
Cruella is beautiful, but definitely try the small size.
I seem to only have issues with those two brands. I love Tom Ford, Lancôme, Bobbi Brown and Maybelline lipsticks.

Ooh Pippin sephora has a duo of the Cruella and Dolce Vita pencils minis. I love Dolce Vita so much.

I still have Cruella from the Sephora bday gift from a while back lol. Thanks for the suggestions:)
Tip: if you find liquid lipstick to be kind of messy to apply and have trouble getting it on neatly, the flat side of the brush that comes with the Naked palettes works perfectly as a lip brush.
The synthetic fibers make it easy to clean and dry too.
I think I might be sensitive to something in the Pat McGrath eyeshadows I'm going to give it a few more chances, because I could be having allergic reactions to all kinds of things and this is mostly just a little eyelid stinging, but I'll be really sad if I have to return the palettes.
About six months ago, I started getting Facebook ads for a quarterly subscription box called CauseBox. Their summer box looked really good, but I convinced myself it wouldn't be that good again, and I didn't need it. Then I started getting ads for their fall box, and everything in that box was awesome. But I talked myself out of it again. Well, the winter box ads started a few weeks ago. The first item they previewed was awesome. Then when the second item they previewed was also great, I finally cracked. The third item was just revealed today, and it's a jade roller, so that will be fun to try.
Anyway, I don't think I get credit for referring people, but if you like subscription boxes, I recommend checking them out. They are pricier ($50ish/box) but quarterly, not monthly, and better stuff than the monthly boxes, I think. The stuff is supposedly all ethically made (though I question how they can sell it at such a steep discount). Boxes seem to typically include a piece of jewelry, a couple beauty items, things like scarves/clutches, and small household items like candles.
That pancho thing looks purty. Did you get it yet?
I know! I'm really excited for it. Their FAQs say it ships in early December. From what I can tell, they start releasing spoilers a few weeks or a month before the box ships.
If you pay for a year up front, then you get to choose certain items, e.g. which color of poncho you want. If you pay as you go, it's random. I paid up front and chose the charcoal one since it seemed to be the most versatile and practical, but I really love the red one and am thinking of switching before it ships.

This sounds similar to FabFitFun boxes. I just got my winter box today and got a jade roller!

I’m now getting Facebook ads for that one (and Pop Sugar) and it looks great!
I'm not willing to pay $150 for the MLM lash serum that a college acquaintance is shilling - but I seem to remember people talking about a more reasonably priced product that was similar. Anybody?

I used Rapidlash in the past and it worked great. I got it from Costco online (can't remember if it was a member only item or not) for 2/$49.99

I use Grandelash serum and am very happy with my results. I don't know if Overstock.com still carries it, but I've been getting the large size for a really good price. Sephora also carries it. I've been using it for about a year and my lashes are significantly longer than they used to be and now I only require a thickening mascara. Unfortunately it didn't thicken my lashes a whole lot.
So I was putting on my makeup this morning and was going to do a natural look. I somehow ended up with pretty much a brown smokey eye look. That'll look great for my trip to the pet store and grocery store on a Tuesday morning! Lol
I have a product rave that I got in my fabfitfun box. Oribe gold lust dry shampoo. Disclaimer: I have thick hair and a dry scalp, so I don't get very oily. I do get hairspray buildup by my part and this stuff has passed the test. It's $$$ though.
It doesn't smell strongly of perfume or powder and has a nice clean scent that isn't overpowering (very important to me because scents can give me a migraine). It doesn't feel chalky or weird. My hair feels soft and silky like it was freshly washed and no powdery look to it. I used it on day 5 hair and you would never know it was day 5 hair. I know some people might think it's gross to go that long, but washing my hair more often only makes my scalp drier and itchy.
mortomo, I’ve heard fantastic stuff about that dry shampoo, but I’m too cheap to pull the trigger. I also have a dry scalp, so I can relate to day 5 hair!

I finally bought the DevaCurl dryer that I had been curious about for ages...I absolutely love it! My hair has never been dry so fast and looked the way I like it to look right after a wash.😄
Just ran out of my DE C-Tango eye cream, two days after the Sephora sale. Any hear anything about the save$25 on $50 promo they usually do? 😂 I have such a love/hate relationship with their packaging.

Add me to the list of people that can’t wear Bite lip masks. They irritate my lips so bad.
I’ve been on the hunt for a new perfume for over a year and I think I finally found something: Carolina Herrera Good Girl. I never tried it because I hate the bottle (it’s shaped like a shoe) but I got a sample and love the way it smells.

You can pull the top off of their products to see what's left and to get the remaining product out. I don't know for sure if you can do that with the eye cream, but I know for sure you can with the vit c serum and the night serum
My no-buy year is starting now. The amount of makeup and backup skincare I have is....ridiculous. I'm too embarrassed to show the inventory and I'm not even done yet with all the categories.
Now I’m really excited for my fabfitfun box. Not that I need another expensive product to love lol.
I just got my first box! No dry shampoo here but I got a full sized bite lipstick! Of course it’s a color I’m not sure about but oh well!
This is my second box and I was able to pick the dry shampoo. I’m hoping I get the Bite lipstick as that wasn’t one I could pick. I’m wanting to see if the formula still irritates me but I don’t want to buy it lol. I’m really liking their current boxes though. I loved everything in the fall box.

I got the beauty advent calendar at Anthropologie this weekend during their 30% off sale and it looks amazing. I did not totally spoil it for myself, but it looks like it has good items. It’s sold out online, but some stores might still have them.
