Air Brush Tanning Question

So I am in a wedding in October in New Orleans which takes place on a Friday. I will be leaving Orlando on Wednesday to drive up there (maybe not the best decision driving with a 2 year old, but that's another story).

I need to be airbrushed tanned. I have major tan lines, not bathing suit lines but a tan from my running tank tops.......so it's not very flattering and my dress is strapless.

Anyway, I found a lady who will come to my hotel in New Orleans on Thursday morning but I have the RD that evening. I can take a shower 4 hours after the airbrushing but I am sure I will be busy that day running errands so I am kind of against doing it then.

I was thinking I could have it done in Orlando that Tuesday before I left. It's been years since I had an airbrush tan (nobody does it in South Texas) but I am thinking it will be too long to go Tuesday to Friday and expect the tan to still be even.

What do you think? Is Tuesday a bad idea?

I would do it on Thursday am in New Orleans. Being a very pale chick, I've had quite a few airbrush tans and if you did it Tuesday, it would definitely start to become uneven and looking weird.

Just wondering, how long is the drive from Orlando to New Orleans?

No, the airbrush tan isn't required, just thought I would do it just because. Just because I wanna look better than the bride, LOL. I don't think I am suppose to say that....

And yeah, I decided we would be driving. At the time it seemed like a good idea and a way to save $$. Not I don't think it was such a good idea. Ha!

I am coming to Orlando from Texas Oct 2. The wedding is Oct 19. My IL's are driving with my H's Grandmother (she doesn't fly) so I thought I would hitch a ride with them to save two one way airline tickets for Macy and I. Once the wedding is over my H and I are going to drive back to Texas (he is driving with my car.......again, it saves us money). Yikes. We are going to be MISERABLE with a whiney two year old.

Oh, and since we are talking about this crazy wedding let me fill you in on some more drama....well, nothing that involves me but I'd still thought I share This girl STILL HAS NOT PICKED OUT HER INVITATIONS. Her wedding is in exactly one month. She still has to address them and get them in the mail. But it gets better, she doesn't have to *really* worry about RSVPs because they went waaaaayyyyy over budget buying crap that doesn't really matter and they can no longer afford to provide dinner, so it will be heavy apps. IDK, cut back on the photo booth or the $4K photographer and the $3 videographer and feed your guests. The ceremony doesn't start until 7 PM and it's a Catholic ceremony so who knows when we will be eating. I guess I will pack a sandwich?

Oh and one more bitch. I had to order my BM dress 5 months ago when I was 25+ lbs heavier. Well my dress doesn't fit now (duh). I took it to get altered and since it has a plunging V-neck back (does that make sense?) and it's 7 inches too large in the chest it can't really be altered. The top is fitted kinda like bra cups and this dress is made for someone who has a 38 inch chest, which I would think is similar to at least a size D. I wear a 32 A. There is no way to make this dress work. I had to order another dress yesterday 4 sizes smaller. The dress was $200 (they gave me a discount), the rush order is $40 and the overnight shipping is $80. It should arrive on Oct 7 and if there are any alterations to be made I will have to find someone in Orlando.

Fuck......this is an expensive wedding.

My sister was the manager at a tanning salon, before getting a better offer to work somewhere else. She took me to her old salon to get a spray tan today, she said that after 3 days, it starts breaking down and will look like crap.
