Training for:. Nothing right now I guess. Last race of the year was last weekend. Next thing isn't until March. So now back to base building and strength.

Vents- I think I'm good at the moment? AW's- this year taught me I need scary goals to be motivated. So...yep, found some. I'm biking my ass off next year.
What are you training for? Date? My first full- Richmond, this weekend Trail 50k in January
Training schedule for the week? Nothing except 3-5 tonight and 3 on Thursday
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! None! Except I wish I had gotten my weight more under control. Whoever warned me was right. There was no weight loss during training. I’m 16 lbs up from May, and started training in July. Weight training has gone to the wayside, and I can’t wait to get back to he gym and slim down and tone up.
Any AW's or brags? Omg it’s really happening!!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited!!

Training schedule for the week? Mon - 40 min run, Tues - Rest, Wed - 45 min run, Thur - easy swim, Fri - Rest, Sat - Half marathon, Sun - Rest
Any issues/vents/complaints? Brrr...it's going to be cold Saturday morning. I'm not ready for temps in the 20s yet.
Any AW's or brags? I had a pretty great weekend, the kind where I realize how much I love where we live. Friday was at the movies with some neighborhood friends. Saturday I took the kids downtown to see a very cool museum exhibit. Sunday was in the country to see beautiful fall colors and go to a fall festival. We finished the day at a brewery with a spectacular view.
Bonus Non H&F - Did you vote yet? Yep I went this morning and spent a few hours volunteering at our election day PTA bake sale. We were killing it despite the terrible weather.

Hi guys! Can I play despite my long absence from H&F and the fact that I don't run? Because...I'm planning to run. Twice.
What are you training for? Date? A 10k this Sunday. And then maybe a 15k on Jan. 13. That race also offers a 5k option, but my BF is doing 15, and the 5 starts an hour earlier. So between not wanting to get up that early and not wanting to have him waiting around while I run and then me waiting for him, I figure hey, just run 10 extra km. Plus the 15k course is prettier! This is a normal thought process, right?
Training schedule for the week? You mean my entire training for this 10k? I ran 2x 20 min with 2 min rest in between last week with intervals of 4 min easy/1 min faster (worked out to 6.3k). Sunday ran 8x 3 min easy/2 min faster/30 sec walk break (almost 7k). Today ran 9x 3 min easy/2min faster, no walk break (8k). All this on the instruction of BF who is a running coach and told me I had to at least do these 3 sessions to prove I won't injure myself or die on Sunday. CF yesterday and then tomorrow-Fri, Sat I'll rest.
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My left knee hurts. Running is hard. Why on earth am I considering running 15k again?
Any AW's or brags? Hey, I can run a reasonable distance without actually training! Thanks, CrossFit and general fitness.

Fun adventure on Sunday, crossed a 2018 goal off my list by running around another one of the Finger Lakes. I'd never been to this one, and the sunny fall weather and foliage was spectacular.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! - I’m getting frustrated that there seems to be no clear resolution or idea what is going on with my knee. I’m scared that it’s going to blow up during IM training.

Training schedule: (after typing this out, it looks like a really boring week, LOL) Monday: Walk/rest Tuesday: 4 miles Wednesday: 4 miles Thursday: 4 miles or cross train Friday: 4 miles Saturday: Travel to Phoenix for work Sunday: Conference
Vents/Complaints/AWs: Vent: More work travel. But since my race isn’t until March, it’s not such a big deal. AW: I ran SO MUCH last weekend (7miles Sat and 8 miles Sun). Not a lot by h&f standards, but after the debacle that was my awful migraine meds this summer, I’m finally feeling so good. My anxiety is gone, my fitness is back (or still here, I guess I didn’t really lose it) and my headaches are finally under control.
Bonus non-H&F, did you vote yet? YES! H and I early voted, and then I hounded my family to make sure they all voted today. Which they did. YAY!
