Yeah I heard amazing things about this so I downloaded the sample. Nope. I couldn’t even finish that.

I had a totally different reaction! I loved the book and found it beautifully written but very depressing.

How funny that when I looked at Goodreads last week and added a few books to my list one I was most excited to try was The Map of Salt and Stars. Looks like I'll have to read that one mostly on my own.
