I didn't know The Haunting of Hill House was a book. I just finished the Netflix series and I wasn't as happy with it as I thought I would be.

The book is very different! It’s been a long time but they weren’t a family and one of the characters wasn’t even in the book.

I haven't watched (and probably won't watch) the netflix series, but I watched the 1999 film The Haunting multiples times when I was younger.

My library wait list cleared out all at once, so I currently have 7 (!) books to read. I was on the wait list for Becoming thinking it would take a while, but then it became available last week, so that is what I am reading right now. I did the same as wildrice though, by downloading them to my kindle app on the ipad so I can turn the wifi off before they expire.
