Ughhhhh snow. We got about 5 inches, which isn't terrible...I just don't want to deal with it, haha.
I don't have next week off as I have a seriously busy week but I did take all of Xmas off so that will be a nice 7 workdays off.
To keep with my whiny theme, I have to go to the office today, which I don't want to. I want to stay in my jammies all day and be warm and snuggly in my house. On a positive note, I got my hair highlighted and cut last night so at least I don't have to worry about doing it today.
We did get a fair bit of snow, but not as much as we were expecting. It is still falling though, so who knows? It's supposed to continue off and on throughout the day. Santa Claus parade is happening tomorrow and I'm thinking of going if the roads aren't too slippery. We'll see.
It's going to be a regular work week for people here next week, because, Canada. Our Thanksgiving is in October. I'm jealous of the feasting you guys will be doing though! Thanksgiving food is the best.
SwimDeep, I just read your other post. I'm sorry about your shoulder pain - that sucks. How long has it been going on for? If it just started, I might wait to bring it up at the appointment you already have scheduled in two weeks (partly in the hopes that it will go away by then!) But if it's really bothering you, there's no harm in getting it checked out earlier. I hope you feel better soon.
margarita, it's been going on for about four months now at varying degrees of intensity. I keep hoping it will go away on its own, but I'm finally starting to accept the fact that it won't. Ugh...I don't feel like I have money for this, but I'm tired of being in pain.
We only got a dusting of snow, so I can't complain. I'm working remotely most of the day and am currently drinking coffee and watching cable at the bf's house. I'm doing a yoga class over lunch and then need to run to the office for a quick meeting. Tonight, I'm planning to take DS to an improv battle since he's on the school improv team.
Tomorrow DS is going to decorate cookies at XH's parents' house, so I have the day to myself. Doing yoga in the morning and then grocery shopping, I suspect.
Sunday DS and I are going to Milwaukee to hang with DD. We're bringing her home, for break, on Monday. I'm equally excited and nervous for her to come home since things have been weird with us for a bit. She's planning to work most of the time she's home but agreed to have a brother/sister day date on Wednesday. They're going out for sushi at their favorite place. It warms my icy little heart!
I wish I had all of next week off. Even though I work at the corp office of a big box store, I have the joy of working every day INCLUDING Thursday. Yeah, I am super happy about that. I am in the office 4 days but get to be in the thick of things at the store on Turkey day. UUGGHH.
We are suppose to get only about 3 inches of snow today but that is just enough to make the drive home a long one.
SwimDeep, I would go see an orthopedic dr. I have been having issues with my elbow for a couple months and finally went in last week and had my first PT appointment yesterday. She was surprised I went this long without seeing someone.
Fallout 76 dropped yesterday and i got paid, so tonight will be braving the wastelands and drinking wine.
The weekend is fairly open again. I'm going to go to the gym. I will. Totally will. We'll see how that goes. Meal planning, going to see my mom on sunday aaaand watch the vikings game. Laundry. Pretty basic.
I'm reminding myself that whatever happens, today is a good day because it's payday and the Friday before a break. This is one of the benefits of working at a school.
On the less-fun side, I went to urgent care last night because I finally admitted to myself that I have a sinus infection and have for a month. I was so tired yesterday in dance and during the day people were telling me I looked drained. Ugh. On augmentin now!
This weekend a hot dude I hooked up with before is supposed to be in town, so I'm looking forward to seeing him again. He was a lot of fun.
Saturday I'm getting a haircut in the morning and a mani-pedi in the afternoon. Nothing else planned until Thanksgiving at this point.
