I just got FF, and it seems really user friendly, and has a lot of simple ways to keep like a journal or a log of any symptoms or details you want to jot down too.
The calendar automatically predicts your most fertile days based on cycle length.
I'm not really temping yet tho, but the chart looks impressive to me! lol
Yes, there is a paid version. It allows you to compare your charts more easily and gives you some extra tools. If you click around the website, you'll see which things are VIP only.
On FF you get a 30-day free trial of the VIP version, then it automatically drops back to the free version unless you pay (I think it's like $50/year). I don't remember which features you miss with the free version, but I figured for $50 I'd sign up for the VIP.
The app is free, and I use that almost exclusively. If you pay for VIP on the website, then you get VIP for the app too.

VIP is often discounted, especially after you initially sign up, so you don't have to pay full price. I'm on my 4th month charting and I just got 5 free VIP days, woot! Good timing since I think I ovulated yesterday, so its been fun using the fancy upgraded features.

The regular price is $120 and the discount they are showing me is $45. That is a pretty good deal to me!

I've got ovuview going. Like it better than FF and it's 5 dollars for the full/most extended version. Not sure if it's available for iPhones as well (I have an Android phone)
