Today: laundry, bagels/groceries, and packing. Probably a walk or two with the boys!
Tuesday: finish all that I can packing
Wednesday: I have all 4 boys...the other two should be picked up right after nap though so am earlier day. We might get the Christmas decorations out and start since we will be gone.
Thursday: drive 5+ hours to ILs. Hoping this goes better than I expect 🤣. Coming home Sunday. Supposedly we are all sleeping in one room since MIL invited too many people (which is saying a lot because they have a 5500 sq ft home). Wish us luck LOL
Shopping for Christmas and C’s bday while there (all online likely).

Happy Thanksgiving my beautiful friends! I’m thankful for each and every one of you!
Today and tomorrow I’m working. Since there is no students, we are working 10-6:30. DH has to work OT Monday-Wednesday 7a-7p so we will have the evening together. After dinner tonight or tomorrow we need to go grocery shopping.
I’m off Wednesday so I’m going to see what Christmas decorations we have here, most of my Christmas stuff is at the ILs. I’ll pick up our decorations this weekend.
We are going to the ILs for Thanksgiving. They were nice enough to invite my mom. We are staying for 3 nights and my mom is so excited. She thinks it’s a mini vacation lol.
I’m going out Black Friday to a few stores. DH is going with me to make sure I don’t spend too much money lol. MIL may join us, she was excited that I was going out. SIL flies in for a job interview Friday night for Monday.
Saturday we are taking SIL to some wineries.
Sunday we drive home hopefully early so we can relax before the work week starts.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Today we are trying out a new music/story class for R at the library.
Tomorrow T has a doctor's appt plus I am going to do a bunch of laundry/start packing.
Wed is R's normal class at the rec center, DH is getting out at 2 so we're going to head out to my parents'. I have to do some baking when I get there.
We'll be there for a few days and come home later on Saturday and use Sunday to chill and start taking down fall decorations.
Happy Thanksgiving!! We leave Wednesday to have Thanksgiving at my parents' lake house (five-hour drive) for the first time. The logistics are daunting with all the stuff we need to bring! But I am really excited. We put up the Christmas decorations yesterday so the house will be all ready for the season when we get back on Sunday!
Today we have G's 18 month appt, Tuesday is parent conferences so I get to work a 14 hour day, Wednesday is a half day for me and the kids where I somehow need to do a ton of Thanksgiving prep, Thursday we are hosting Thanksgiving for the first time for my family. Friday H is supposedly going out to brave Target to get my a new iPhone and take advantage of their gift card offer. And then Saturday I have an 80 minute massage scheduled (a Mother's Day gift I haven't had a chance to use!)
Super busy week, but I'm actually looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving. It's our first time not having to travel 2+ hours on a holiday and plan around nap time.

Blue Moon- we hosted in 2014 because I was hugely pregnant with C (37ish weeks). It was awesome and I would totally do it every year! We went to ILs in 2015, stayed home in 2016 (L was about 2 months old) and last year we were supposed to be at ILs but L was in the hospital til weds afternoon and I wasn’t about to travel with him (still wasn’t breathing well or feeling well). We ended up at my parents for a quick dinner. I much much prefer hosting or staying close and having the rest of the weekend with our little family.

Work today and tomorrow.
Wednesday home with DS. Supposed to get some shelving delivered tomorrow so I plan to put it together Wednesday and have DS help organize and sort through toys in preparation for Christmas.
Thursday Thanksgiving with my parents. They live close so it will be easy.
We are going to my In-laws in Friday (they live an hour away) and will stay the night...may stay Saturday night too we will see.
Happy Thanksgiving! Hope everyone has a great week!
Working Mon/Tues, on the road tonight. Taking Wednesday off because DS has a half day of school, and he has his heart set on baking a pie together. So Wednesday will be some prep for dinner on Thursday. Just having my dad over. My mom is hosting my brother, his girlfriend, and her 4 unvaccinated kids (just so we're clear on why we won't be joining with our 5 month old!)
Shopping: ordering our Christmas card and buying my mom a birthday present.

So many toys! Where do they all come from??? I started sorting this weekend, in preparation for Xmas and also for soon having a crawler who puts everything in her mouth.

I am so overwhelmed by it. Our basement is just a disaster as we used to just have a toy box/ottoman and DS just dumps it so it looks like a toy store exploded in our basement.
DS wants this 2+ft tall paw patrol tower for Christmas in addition to a power wheel. I just don't know where we will put it all so DS and I are going to pick out toys to donate and are now storing all his toys in the under the stairs closet.
Quiet week here. H and I are both off Mon-Wed so we’re just enjoying the extra time together and making progress on home renovation stuff.
H works 12 hour shifts Thu-Sun, so we don’t have any holiday plans. My mom is going to come over on Thursday and she and I are going to spend a quiet day together. We don’t have any plans for a big meal or cooking or anything, we’re just going to relax, snuggle our dogs, and find something to marathon on TV.
Friday, I’ll be doing some online Black Friday shopping. I’ve got a pretty decent list of things I’m looking for this year, so hopefully I can find some decent deals.
Saturday and Sunday, no plans at this point. I’ll probably just lay around and enjoy a couple of lazy days before I go back to work next Monday.
Yesterday we went to music class and did two Walmart trips. I was bummed this morning when I realized I forgot to get coffee creamer BOTH times. Ugh!
Tues - children's museum Wed - Either cooking with my mom or maybe going to see BFF? DH took off work too so he suggested getting his mom to babysit so we could have time together. I dunno! Thurs - Thanksgiving at my mom's Fri - online shopping Sat - Thanksgiving at the in-laws Sun - rest!

The Starbucks Thanksgiving blend coffee is gross. I like the Christmas blend but the Starbucks at target didn’t have it. I was so sad but needed caffeine.
I discovered the area we live in has it’s holiday priorities right. Went to Target, no lines at checkout. Went to Michael’s, no lines at checkout. Went to Total Wine, 4 checkouts open, all 4 were about 8 deep lol.
I made apple pie sangria for tomorrow. I think I may have to sample a glass or 2 tonight to make sure it’s good.

DH and I are fighting because the kids are both sick and I don’t want to go to his parents house for 4 days (5 hour drive). C vomited this morning but mostly seems like his normal cold, which L now has. We are supposed to all sleep in the same room.
Ugh. I absolutely don’t like going anyways but it’s definitely a tough decision. I want DH to have time with his family...just wish there was a way to make that possible without having to be there so long (there’s like nothing to do unless you are on the boat/river or at the casinos).
I've been MIA this week. DH wanted a big birthday celebration for his 40th that included his family and mine, and he wanted to leave town. So we were at a resort Sun-Wed, got home last night. It was good, lots of family time. DH got to golf, I got a massage.
