I'm getting through today because this Monday starts a short week Pasting a smile on my face and getting through it.
I was at the store bright and early this morning (15 minutes before they even opened) to get Thanksgiving shopping done before work. It was nice being the only shopper in the grocery store. But I still can't believe how much food I'm cooking for two people. I'm roasting a turkey on Thursday (and fixing three sides to go with it) and then roasting a duck on Friday (and fixing four sides to go with it). Plus, since H is working Thursday/Friday and I'll have nothing better to do, I'm going to fix myself some appetizers to snack on throughout the days while I watch TV and cook.
SwimDeep, That was me on my lunch break. I went to the farmers market near my office and the regular grocery store. I am only a few items shy of what I need to finish Thanksgiving for 17 people. I am trying to avoid going to the store after work.

In the last week I bought a cake stand (which is super cute and says "let them eat cake!" so how could I NOT buy it?!), a loaf pan and pie plate. So add me in to the cooking club.
Today I helped my friend in massage therapy school with some of his homework by receiving a tui na massage from him.
I'm not doing any cooking for Thanksgiving beyond making an apple pie, as usual. My parents' appliances are scheduled to be installed on Wednesday, so hopefully everything stays on schedule.
My Turkey day contribution consists of ordering an Edible Arrangement (which I still need to do). everyone loves it and counts on those chocolate covered pineapples and strawberries.

I would gladly volunteer to help a massage sounds lovely.

It was pretty nice. A little awkward for me, but still good once I stopped overthinking so much.
