Sun-homemade chicken soup (crock pot) Mon-leftovers/breakfast Tues-Steak tips in gravy over pasta/potatoes or zoodles (crock pot) Wed- I'm making pies on my day off so.. Thanksgiving: Mom is hosting: turkey/stuffing/mashed potatoes with gravy/broccil and rolls I'm bringing pies/dessert: Pumpkin, Dutch Apple, and maybe lemonade pie Friday-Pork Stew aka Linda Stew for DD (crock pot) Sat-Grilled Pork loin, roasted veggies, bake potatoes/yams
No Leftovers from Thanksgiving. My mom will send stuff home with my siblings but none for me. I'm not a huge fan of turkey anyways so not a big deal.
I am cooking nothing. I am not the cook in the family. I gladly ordered dessert from a local bakery. I will be bringing a chocolate bourbon pecan pie and a mix of chocolate and pumpkin whoopie pies. Also providing some gluten free ingredients for my mom to cook food I can eat.
Monday - Beef stew Tuesday - Tacos Wednesday - leftovers and a piece of one of my apple pies Thursday - I am in charge of corn, mac and cheese, apple pies, and banana pudding. Nothing hard. Friday - I will be craving pizza, Mexican, steak, anything not turkey and dressing.
Sunday- Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole Monday- spaghetti, salad and bread Tuesday- takeout from somewhere Wednesday- takeout again because I’m prepping and making desserts (chocolate pound cake and pumpkin pie) Thursday- Oh Lordy. All the food. Turkey, stuffing, carrots, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, rolls, dessert Friday- Leftovers Saturday- turkey pot pie (DH loves homemade pot pie, so this is a no brainer)
