Flying with stim meds?

Has anyone flown with stim meds before? I’m flying on Wednesday night and will have a cold pack, liquid meds and needles. I have a letter from my dr, do I need anything else? Will TSA give me a hard time?

You should be perfect, especially with the note from your doctor. I’ve never had TSA blink an eye or even open the cooler (insulated lunchbox) when I said there were meds inside.

Should be good, but you never know what TSA will pull. I just held my cooler back and said, "it's medication, it can't go on the belt scanner." I was flying into a small airport and my airport security was really quick that day, which helped, I think.

I've flown with stims several times (without a doctors note) and never had an issue.
Pro-tip: airport bars are more than happy to put a scoop of ice in your cooler if you need one.

Theyve never said anything to me. I never got a letter either just breezed thriugh with all of it.

I flew with my stim meds and with my PIO needles probably 10x, never had anyone ask for a note!  Very surprising every time.
