Happy Monday after a super long weekend! How was the long weekend? Did you do anything fun? Get any Christmas presents or Black Friday deals?

Weekend was good but NOT restful at all. Wednesday I was up until 10pm making pies. Thursday was going to P's parents' house and then my sisters. Friday I went to yoga, where she totally made us regret that extra pie, lol. Then we went to P's parent's for dinner and had everyone over to our place for dessert. Saturday I went for a run then cleaned the house. We went to my brother's for dinner as it was my niece's birthday. Sunday I went to a holiday market with a friend, did some shopping and then went to yoga.

I ordered P's Christmas gift. Didn't get a deal but they had a free gift with purchase, which was good. Got some deals on new Nike workout clothes. I couldn't figure out why my running tights were falling down until I looked at the size and they are 1-2 sizes too big! On Sunday I went to the mall, which was awesome as I got alllll the same deals but didn't have to deal with the crowds. Picked up some yoga stuff from Lululemon and Athleta.

My weekend was not restful at all either.
I had to work thru Saturday so that was a lot of fun.

BUT on Saturday night we had a big family gtg as my niece from Alaska is home visiting.
It was incredible to have all 4 generations together.
We got a great picture of my parents with their 4 Great Grand-kids. Those kids are that apples of both of my parents eyes. It is so sweet.

The only shopping I did was for myself at Old Navy online. They have a nice tall section and I was able to get quite a few new basics and some new workout wear for dirt cheap.

I am pissed though that I fell asleep before ordering 2 Nixplay wifi cloud frames thru Amazon at 30% off. I was waiting for my sister in law to decide on the 10" or 13" and fell asleep waiting on her. When I woke up, the deal was over. grrrrrrrrrrrr

Weekend was great! Well mostly...the bad parts weren't that bad though.

H and I cleaned on Saturday and put up our little Christmas tree
I got a great deal at Joann's on a new wreath for our door. I really wanted to take advantage of the deal they had on the Cricut, but I managed not to. That will be my reward for paying off my credit cards.

I am very up today. Bouncing off the walls. I slept very little last night, and I have a lot of energy right now. I really need to find a way to start tracking my mood swings. I feel like I'm rapid cycling.

The weekend was busy - I had a Saturday/Sunday riding clinic, so it was Thurs at M's parents' house, Friday "work" day, Sat/Sun with the horse and home in the evenings. My big splurge of the shopping weekend? I ordered new blinds for our living room, LOL.

I ordered a Penzey's gift box for my mom (the seasonings are good and the politics will piss her off, so it's perfect! ), makeup for my med-school-broke sister, and all weather floor mats for M's new Tesla, because he all but asks me to take my shoes off before I get in the dang car. I still haven't come up with any gift ideas for my dad - I hate to just do gift cards, but I could find them new restaurant(s) in their city to try out...

How long did he have to wait for it?

Ha, that's a hard question to answer. He signed up the night the Model 3 was announced, so he's had his reservation in FOREVER. He was waiting and waiting for the regular-range battery 4WD option, which still isn't available. He was going to keep waiting another 6+ months in hopes it would become available. 

Since there's over $9K in tax credits if you get your car by the end of this year (dropping down to $4k next year), I pushed him into ordering the extended-range battery option, which arrived in 2 weeks because they already had a car sitting somewhere that fit all the options he wanted, so they just shipped it in from CA. It was barely enough time for us to get the trade in finalized! 

I am really loving the autopilot function. The car drove itself the hour+ to M's parents' house on Thanksgiving. Nothing amused me more than just flicking on the blinker and having the car figure out how to move itself over a lane to pass a slow-moving car.

I'm up! I was a little worried about getting up on time after a week of being off without any alarms set. But I'm doing it, with the help of coffee.

My weekend was good, somewhat restful and somewhat productive. Saturday I went out for a friend's going-away party. I am starting to see some things a little more clearly with some of the people I've been hanging out with, though what I'll do about it I'm not yet sure. Also, one of the bartenders at a local place told a guy I was off limits, then explained to me later that he's apparently bad news.

I did end up reconnecting with a guy I went on a couple good dates with before. I'm not sure if it will really become anything, but we had a whole conversation where it seems we both pulled back because we assumed the other wasn't interested. We went on a date yesterday evening and it was nice to see him again.

The best part of my weekend was getting rid of a bunch of stuff I've had in my apartment. Purging stuff feels so good. I have a bunch of donations to take in this week, plus two boxes to return to Zappos.

Oh, deals! I got a pair of character shoes for about 25% off and another pair of dance sneakers for probably a similar discount (on a discount website + a 15% discount). I got my mom a Christmas present and want to get her one more thing. I'm still thinking about what to get my dad because I think Lakers tickets are out of my price range this year. Maybe after my returns process they won't be, we'll see.

My weekend was amazing. Wednesday I came home and prepped the rest of my thanksgiving meal. I was hosting. I made it so all I had to do was add a few toppings to things and place them in the oven on Thursday once the Turducken was resting. The Turducken was really good but the duck was the best part. I made a killer mac and cheese. It was the first thing to disappear. Dinner itself was really good. I think everyone had a good time. That night my H, brother and his BF stayed up until 2 am watching music videos on youtube. It was so much fun.
Friday. I put up my tree and went to a Christmas market near a movie theater to see Fantastic Beasts. Nerd alert I wore my HP school sweater and someone noticed! Nerds unite!

Saturday watched rugby and came home and binge watched the Great British Bake off on netflix.

Sunday rocked. ATL UTD one the first round of the eastern conference playoffs. My throat hurts from yelling and cheering so much.

My Christmas shopping is almost done... H is done, one niece is done. Just need a gift for older niece and a gift for my MIL.

What do you get a 13 year old these days?
