My face has been neglected since my surgery Monday. There’s comfort in routine and not being able to stick to it is frustrating. I’ve been whipping through a quick wipe down but not the same.

I think some of the shifty pinky/purple/blue ones look nice. Or the red/gold ones. The green ones are weird to me though.

I've really been liking the Aveeno MaxGlow infusion drops...either under my makeup or mixed with my foundation. I've been liking cream blush too.

Have any of you guys tried cloud paint by Glossier? They look pretty

What’s everyone’s favorite highlighter brush? I’ve been using my mac fan brush forever, but it’s not working with the dior highlight.
I’m curious about real techniques and a hakuho-do brushes, but can’t seem to make up my mind.

I use an Up & Up brush for concealer and it works great. I think it’s their concealer brush. I’ll see if I can find a link. I like that I can buff and blend highlights better than with a fan brush.

Edit: Nevermind looks like Target got rid of their brush line. That’s a bummer they had decent brushes. It looks similar to this Elf blush brush, maybe a bit smaller but same shape.

I use a real techniques setting brush. It’s perfect IMO.

I use an old Sonia Kashuk blush brush I got in a set years and years ago. That and a light touch seem to work really well for me.

I’m $150 away from rouge at Sephora and I think I’ll just go for it. I might grab the SR Juno oil as I’m using a sample and it’s playing nice with my skin. Not sure what else though. I have a couple different Vit C serums right now so I don’t want to get the DE one in case something expires before I can use it. Decisions decisions lol. I already got my big ticket items during the VIB sale so I’m like eh on everything else.

I hit platinum yesterday as well. I picked up a Born to Run as a present and then a few other random things (lip balms, a brush cleaning mitt, etc) and used my 20% coupon.

I’d recommend getting the c firma directly from Drunk Elephant, as it’s fresh and they deliver the next day, I think. I got a travel size from Sephora and it was brown already the first time I used it. They have a discount the first time you buy from them.

I suspected the C-firma I got from Sephora was old, but this is probably why the serum didn't do anything for me.

I haven't worn make up since before my surgery, probably about three weeks. I've also been slacking on my skin routine. I put make up on today and am so unhappy. My skin is out of whack and my make up is really showing it. I'm going to a lunch meeting (on crutches) to talk about a career opportunity and this little thing is making me illogically anxious. So dumb.

i had made my last purchase (present for MIL) at ulta to reach platinum for next year right before the 20% code came out. i've been sitting on it, not planning to get anything unless some holiday sets go on sale, or there is a good daily deal i can combine it with. but yesterday i saw they restocked the emily edit wants palette and now i feel like i need to have it. does anyone have it? do you love it? hate it?

I have The Wants and it’s an ok palette. The mattes are pretty good but the shimmers only really show up if you use your finger to apply. I only bought it because of Emily otherwise I probably would have skipped it but like I said it’s good but not great.
