State of the Ute 12/10

1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO)
TTC#2, cycle #1, CD 26, 13DPO

2. Any tests this week? My BBT just dropped like a stone (was very very high since implantation) and was barely above the midline this morning so I’m assuming my period is imminent. Got a negative yesterday but knew that was a bit early to test. I’ll chalk this up as another CP but a rather quick one.

3. Have you told anyone you are TTC? I’ve mentioned to a couple of girlfriends that we will be trying again. DH is more talkative about it than I am. I’m a chatty person by nature and find this whole process so frustrating.

4. Questions, randoms? Our next cycle will land TTC over Christmas so at least I can drink through the holidays. DH is disappointed this cycle didn’t stick since the due date would have been one day before DDs birthday (he has some idea that we could just do joint birthday parties always).

2. Any tests this week? Nope, I have my annual exam this week and then I'll force a period in January so we can start IVF

3. Have you told anyone you are TTC? Just a few friends know but for family it's been completely quiet. I don't need them up in our business.

4. Questions, randoms? I'm getting terrified of IVF now for some reason and I think it's because I finally started doing the math on how much we've spent for meds and treatment so far.

Did you have an initial blood test to get a positive?  I get having implementation bleeding but without a confirmed blood test I wouldn't necessarily call it a CP.  Hopefully next cycle will be your time!!

2. Any tests this week? Nope. Was hoping to need a pregnancy test today, but my period showed up early. It was light, so I did test on Saturday trying to determine if it was implantation bleeding or period (negative).

3. Have you told anyone you are TTC? Not really. I say in some cases “if I get pregnant again.”

4. Questions, ransoms? Someone mentioned not knowing how to count a loss a few weeks ago. I saw TTC because it will be my second pregnancy, even though our first one did not make it to birth. I also have 2 step-daughters, so when I mention kids, that’s who they are! I realized my references may be confusing.

2. Any tests this week? Not this week. Next week. I’ll probably wait until after exams so December 21.

3. Have you told anyone you are TTC? No. I haven’t share it IRL because I don’t know how long it could take and I’m not a person who shares personal things.

4. Questions, randoms? I am symptom spotting already and it’s insane. This TWW sucks. Also, I keep alternating between “I hope this month is it” and “omg what if I’m pregnant, what will I do?!” Emotions are weird. The likelihood of me being pregnant is so low but when making summer plans I’m hesitant because what if I’m pregnant?!? If I am, I’d be due like end of August. But again the likelihood is so low that I’m probably not.

I mention it much more now than ever before. I do have one coworker also TTC so we talk a lot

TTC #2 cycle 5 CD31 11DPO

No testing. Temp drop today and I’ve started spotting.
If my period starts today, I will have had two cycles with only a 10 day LP. New problems, great.

My coworkers (3 of them) know we are TTC and my mom probably assumes since I mention having a baby occasionally.

I bought a set of Harry Potter onesies at Target because I figure they won’t have them by the time I get pregnant and they are adorable. Hopefully I’m not staring at them for the next year kicking myself.

aprilsails if you didn't get a positive test before today, then it isn't a CP. Also, an "implantation dip" in the middle of your luteal phase doesn't mean anything. I know the general term is implantation dip but what is really is is an estrogen surge.

2. BFN this morning. This cycle is weird. My temp dropped -0.5F yesterday (12DPO)so I was sure AF was on its way but it is back up 0.2F this morning. Never happened before. Once it goes down, it stays down. I still think AF is on its way though. My luteal phase is usually 13-15 days so if AF comes today, it would still be a short LP (12 days). If it comes tomorrow, we'll be in the average for me (13 days).

3. Have you told anyone you are TTC? Just one close friend. We are going to have to tell the in-laws (reluctantly)pretty soon. My husband has low count and he is going to see the urologist soon and we need medical info from them. His brother is also seeing a RE clinic and MIL told everyone. I'll make it clear to them that they better keep their mouths shut. My in-laws just share private medical information about others to anyone who will listen.

4. Questions, randoms? We're just getting ready to see a RE. I've done all my tests and it came out that I have a damaged tube (blocked). On top of low count, it looks like IVF might be our only option. H has to do another SA this week so hoping it will be good.

2. Any tests this week? OPKs, which are seeming like I might ovulate earlier than usual but they can be "almost positive" forever!

3. Have you told anyone you are TTC? Some friends and some family, mostly to eliminate jokes that I might be pregnant or the respective convincing us to have another kid.

4. Questions, randoms? Not really. Just same old, trying to be patient.

2. Any tests this week? Not this week.

3. Have you told anyone you are TTC? Yes, my closest friends who have kids and can commiserate about the process, and my cousin who is like my sister know.

4. Questions, randoms? We’re currently on vacation visiting my family in Europe. So far DS (who is 3) has been handling it quite well, but is eating terribly. But he’s never a good eater when we travel. Curious to see how jet lag coming home will affect my cycle. Hopefully not too badly. I am going to see a naturopath who specializes in women’s fertility later this month. I saw one when we were TTC DS so hopefully it will help again this time.

3. Have you told anyone you are TTC? Yes mostly bc my loss happened at a bad time I told my parents and ILs. 2 coworkers know and a couple close friends.

4. Questions, randoms? All I want for Christmas is a positive pregnancy test.

I think I'm ready to test, I feel like I really could be pregnant. Of course I've felt that way before and been super disappointed

Ugh that’s so frustrating. I was 8 days late earlier this year and nearly lost my mind.
