Clomid question

I took Clomid last cycle for my first IUI. It was unsuccessful, but overall, I had no reaction to the Clomid aside from a bit of a headache the days I took the Clomid. My cycle that month was normal-ish; fairly mild cramps and a somewhat light cycle.
This cycle has been a whole other ballgame. To start, I had cramps and spotting 2-3 days after ovulation. Then, starting yesterday, I’ve had the worst cramps/stomach pains of my life. Didn’t sleep last night, threw up from the pain at work before I clued in to take Advil. My period was expected today and while I got it, it’s been weird. Off and on, super dark brown blood. I’m at a loss here.
I suppose it could be a coincidence that the period and some other illness are coinciding, but it really feels like period cramps.
I know that I’m not pregnant because the blood draw from the iui was negative and my H was away this month, so it’s a complete impossibility.
Any ideas?

That could be! I’ve never had one before, but that could explain the pain.

I’m so sorry. Are you being monitored at all? Are you taking clomid during this cycle where you’re experiencing the weird symptoms? You could have a cyst or you could be overstimulating on the meds. If you’re not being monitored and you’re in that much pain I’d call your doctor just in case.
