labbie, I don't know what your group is like but our MRTT group has all kinds of paces. It's pretty damn awesome. Most of the friends I've made over the last 4 years have been through MRTT.
Have fun! Running with people is great. I have a hard time making a lot of the group runs. But it is still nice to have the virtual support.

Thanks mrshandy , I am looking forward to it. I joined the FB group over a year ago, when one of the women actually slowed down beside me while I was doing a training run for my 50-miler and said "I've seen you out here killing it all summer and from one runner to another I just want to say I admire your dedication." I mean, how awesome is that?! They do say they have all paces, and hey- if not, they'll have a new pace group on Monday when I show up haha! Maybe it will encourage someone else to come out that was thinking the same thing as me.

Obviously all the groups are different, but I felt the same way about showing up the first time and there has always been somebody to run with. Also I'm faster with company it turns out (well, not so much faster while running, but I "need" a lot less walk breaks with company so my average pace is higher).
What are you training for? Date? I'm on a running hiatus in prep for fertility treatments next month, but I literally couldn't help myself and signed up for the Nashville RNR half at the end of April. My sister talked me into it ok? LOL
Training schedule for the week? I'm planning to train to walk it for now, but once I get past my FET and we find out if it works, I may slowly ease into a run/walk plan. I don't really have a plan here, I'm just winging it.
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I've never purposely trained to walk a long distance race, so this will be interesting? But I had gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy and didn't run, so I want to go into this potential on a better exercise regimen even if its not running.
Any AW's or brags? nope
Bonus: What's on the menu for Christmas dinner? For those that don't celebrate Christmas, what are your plans for the day? Ham with some sides. I'm still deciding on which ones exactly.
