I am currently 13 dpo per FF. Almost everyone in my house has the stomach bug so I wanted to test in case I happen to get it and need to take meds. I got the faintest of positives on a first response pregnancy test. I am slightly concerned bc my temps aren’t super high (around 97.5ish) and I have no symptoms like sore boobs (which I had with DS and my miscarriage). I am praying this baby sticks. Do you think my doc would send me for any tests due to my miscarriage in September? I have to call and make an appointment, but dunno if they will ask that I do any bloodwork early.
Update - I woke up in the middle of night to horrible cramps and started to bleed. I still have a faint line but this definitely feels like another miscarriage. My son is home and I am hoping the doctor doesn’t make me come in again.

It doesn’t hurt to ask what they think. Symptoms can be very different from pregnancy to pregnancy so sore boobs or not doesn’t necessarily mean anything.
Fingers crossed this is a sticky baby for you! I hope you also manage to dodge the illness. Best wishes!
I agree, make a call! But I had no symptoms with my son until around 7-8 weeks. Healthy pregnancy and baby. Don't be too worried about that part! Congrats!
I went to the doctor and she’s pretty confident it’s another miscarriage, but is doing blood work to confirm. If it is, then me and my husband will do some more testing with her to see why this keeps happening.

I’m so sorry to see the update. I had a couple of CPs prior to DD and I’m sorry you’re having a miscarriage. How many times has this happened? I’m honestly just curious since I never thought my doctor would do tests for easily miscarriages.

This is my second since September. My practice is generally proactive about pregnancy related issues, which is what I liked about them. My sister had a miscarriage prior to getting pregnant (same OB as me) and they did determine she had a thyroid problem that had to be corrected for her to be able to get pregnant. Pretty much all the women in my family do have thyroid issues too, I have been tested and it’s been negative thus far, but my last test was over a year ago. Hoping there is some sort of explanation....

You aren’t asking for advice but Ive also had early losses (doing IVF so my RE is being extremely proactive about it) and thyroid was one of the things they re-tested each time. While it went up slightly it was still well within normal range, but according to my RE there is some literature on optimal thyroid levels for TTC being lower than the usual limit so I was prescribed a medication anyways to try to get it down lower. We haven’t cycled since then but I thought I’d share since it could be something for your doctor to look into.
