Friday?

It feels like Monday...but it’s Friday and another long weekend! What’s new? What are you doing this weekend? Any NYE plans? Random shit?

My laptop is losing its mind, so I’m currently stuck at work without the ability to work! Waiting on the IT guy to call me but who knows how long that will be. So much for trying to get caught up!

I currently have pretty chill weekend plans - drinks with a friend tomorrow and lunch with another friend on Sunday. I took off Monday too. Going to dinner with R and some of his friends then to another friends’ house for game night. They’re planning to ring in the new year at 10 PM lol, New Year’s Day we’re going to an intention setting yoga class, which I’m excited about.

I thought I would sleep in this morning but wound up getting up early because it was just too painful to stay in bed.

No big plans this weekend...no plans at all really. H and I might go adopt a cat, but it depends on whether or not we feel better tomorrow.

Nothing planned today. Tomorrow I have a mani-pedi and am then going to a friend's celebration that she got her doctorate. Sunday I'm probably going to cook and bake because Monday I'm taking a meal to the family of a woman I dance with. Two of her kids have had surgeries within a few days of each other and I wanted to help out somehow. So I'm taking them a pasta dish and apple pie.

No specific plans for NYE yet, still trying to figure it out.

For whatever reason, this year the holidays have been tough reminders that I don't have a partner and it's been harder than it usually is.

It's a wild and crazy Friday night for me as I sit at the coffee shop to work on my word for 2019 project.

doriswe, not sure if you got the monsoon rains that we got yesterday but now all that rain has frozen and the roads are a disaster. If your tires are not spinning at intersections then you are driving over huge ice landmines down long patches of road. and it is suppose to stay cold for awhile so no indication of this shit melting any time soon.

Tomorrow I have to work in the AM and then I have plans to see a friend after that. We might go get manis/pedis, we might hit up a local brewery for day drinking or we might just be to lazy to leave the house and chill in front of her fireplace.

Sunday is the usual Football, laundry and meal prepping.

NYE plans are up in the air right now. I usually spend the eve with my god daughter and her family as it is her B-day. This year, another friend is getting married on NYEs but the reception ends at 10:00PM. WTF?!
None of us are sure we even want to go (the actual ceremony is immediate family only) to the party. Soo we shall see.

It was crazy raining here too but with snow so it was this heavy sloppy mess. And light fluffy snow today to lay nicely on the ice. Thankfully I haven’t had to go very far today. A coworker had flooding at her house because of all the rain. She said they usually deal with that in the spring not in December!
