Hard Rock Resort Punta Cana

Anyone ever stay there?  I'd love some feedback. I've read a lot online and it seems like the reviews are great for those who have the concierge service with a 'butler' and moderate reviews for the basic rooms.  And apparently they push their time share really hard?  I was invited to a destination wedding there and am trying to decide if I want to go and make it into a family vacation.
