What are your plans for the day?
I woke up at 4:30 am and couldn’t go back to sleep. :/ I’m killing time before I meet a friend for what is supposed to be an easy recovery run (but my friend always seems to run faster than I want to go).
I'm up but hopefully going back to bed. I'm hacking up all the lungs and can't sleep. I would like to do an easy spin today to see if I can get my head cleared, but it really depends on how I feel.
I woke up around 445 and couldnt fall back asleep and im exhuasted and annoyed about it.
I have a recovery run (about an hour), but i also have an open house here today, so i have to clean and do a few other things, then be out of the house with the pup for a few hours.
DS2 just got me up. Hoping everyone else sleeps in, the big kids were up late two nights in a row. We're heading to the zoo today (90 minute drive). It'll be a workout for me because I am going to put DS2 in the hiking pack instead of the stroller. He can see everything so much better in the pack.
I'm heading to yoga in a little bit, then we have to take down our outside Christmas lights. We go a little Clark Griswold on the house, so that will be a job.

I’m up - walking the dog and then ending my first official week of marathon training with a 6 miler.
I keep telling myself it’s only 3 months but getting all the shorter runs in during the week is really difficult when it gets dark at 5:00. I don’t have a treadmill or a place I feel safe enough to run in the dark. So I cram in it right after work.
Count me in the crappy sleep club. I have 8 with strides on the schedule and think I will run to the high school track to do them. I get to shop today for our running club banquet prizes. We do quarter zips and shirts, and then I’ll take them to be embroidered or printed tomorrow. I’ll feel much better when they are purchased! I was sort of volunteered for this job (organizing my clubs awarbs banquet) a few years ago and it stuck. I have mixed feelings about this
I'm up getting ready to leave for a holiday get together with the in-laws. Thankful DH is driving so I can catch a quick nap in the car on the way to/from. I've been sleeping like crap this week. I'm thankful the dog is coming and that the weather is good because I'll have a reason to go for several walks around the block during the day ;-)
Super crappy sleep last night. I have lunch with my Aunt and cousin at noon then I plan on coming home and running 3 miles and doing my burpee challenge.

This made me laugh, it’s exactly what I do when we visit my in-laws. The dog never walks so much when we’re out there 😂
Zoo trip with hiking pack was a success! DS2 was happy up there, hopefully he actually saw some of the animals, and I was okay carrying him for a long time.
