Wow you’re brave! I tried to do it myself but couldn’t seem to get the angle right. Did you use heat before?

It’s not super easy. I have found laying in bed on my side to be the easiest position to access the area I need to stick. I’ve tried heat and I’ve tried ice, but the ice works the best for me. I have a serious aversion to the needle going in that ice helps with. I’ve heard ice makes it knot up more so we’ll see how long that lasts. . I massage and heat afterwards though so hopefully that will help it disperse.

My donors retrieval was yesterday. They got 24 eggs, 20 were mature and 15 fertilized. I’m very happy with these numbers and can’t wait for Wednesday’s transfer!
