I had my final interview for the job on Friday, and they made me an offer yesterday afternoon. 17% increase in pay, plus bonus eligibility! And while I'm "losing" PTO vs where I am now, I'm getting 5 more days than the recruiter initially told me. Woot!
Meanwhile DH's job has enough work to get them through 2021, and his budget for this year went through, so his salary and bonus are set for 2019. Whew!
That's all great news, congratulations! How soon do you start? And how much are you looking forward to giving notice at your current place?
I start 2/4. I wanted to get past my layoff date where I am. So I really don't have to give them notice. I just wait out my month, send in my separation agreement, and start a new gig!

Oh right, sorry, I forgot about the layoff. My brain isn't working fully since I started working again, LOL.
Are you taking any time off? Even a few days?
Ha, no worries.
My last day here is 1/31, so I will have 2/1 off (that's a Friday). I may have to drive down to PA for onboarding on the 4th, but it should only take a couple of days.
Already trying to plan 2/1. I may have to do a fancy brunch somewhere!
