I have an ENT appointment scheduled for Friday ... but in the meantime, has anyone ever dealt with a sudden ringing in their ears? What was the cause, was it fixed/did it go away on its own? I haven't been exposed to any exceptionally loud noises lately so IDK why it's doing this.
This is Day Two and it's really distracting, to the point where I had a really hard time falling asleep last night. I had a fan on for white noise to try and forget about it.
Do you still have seeds in there? Get rid of them.
I'd rather eat a handful of seeds like vitamins than have to eat them after they've soaked overnight in milk/cream. They get so slimy.
I love overnight oats...it's like cold cereal without all that nasty crunching noise.
I can't for another 4 days. I had 7 days prepped, and stirred the ingredients. Oh, and I heated it up again today. No more overnight slime for me.
Heating it will make it better then. I like overnight oats because I can use the stone cut oats instead of the quick cut. They soak all night and then they're an easy chew. I've tried soaking in yogurt, milk, and half/half and I like half/half the best. It's my cheat meal (I'm on keto).
mbcdefg- I have and it seems to be a symptom of seasonal allergies for me. If I take allergy meds, it helps. I'm allergic to poinsettias so being out in public during the holidays exacerbates the issue. I haven't gone for additional allergy testing though. Every winter I get congested and my ears start to ring.

Whenever I have an ear infection my ears ring. It is sudden and the first time it happened it got so loud that I could hear it in a loud room. Now I go to the Dr. immediately so it isn't bad. Did anyone look at your ears yet?
If you had $50 to spend right now on something frivolous, what would you buy?
A whole lot of costume jewelry, particularly statement earrings.
I had to travel to a meeting yesterday and woke up at 3:15. Four planes, three taxis, and one country later, I was in my bed before midnight.
I'm glad that I didn't have to stay over, but I'm feeling hungover today from the sleep deprivation and dehydration. I'm working from home today in a bid to not get burnt out.

No, Friday was the earliest appointment I could get. Nothing hurts so I didn't think of an ear infection.
Did your ears hurt when you had the infection? If not, then maybe I could go see urgent care today or tomorrow before the Friday ENT appointment.

Nope they did not hurt. The only symptom I had was the ringing. That is why the first time the ringing got so bad because I waited so long. I would pop into urgent care and see what they say.

We really need a humidifier for our house. Forced hot air heat supplemented with a wood stove makes the air so dry. My lips have been splitting open in my sleep, and I woke up with blood pouring out of my nose this morning.
Is there a way to get a new smartphone with a decent camera, that won't cost me eight billion dollars?
I'm really tired of my iPhone 6 (6s? I don't even know) and my photos all come out blurry and it's got no storage space even though I deleted just about everything. But since there's nothing wrong with it, and since I don't see a way to get one without shelling out a ton of cash, I'm sticking with it until it dies.
What happened to being allowed to just upgrade to a better phone every year or two? Do phone companies not do that anymore?

Ditto! I have a 6S and it takes decent photos and the memory is good but the battery is horrific. I am eligible for the cheap replacement battery so may try and do that, but a few friends who've done that tell me that the battery goes bad again pretty quickly.

So my best friend is an audiologist and we've talked about hearing/ear stuff a lot because my H has hearing loss & tinnitus from combat. Apparently it's not uncommon to have random, completely unexplained ringing in the ears- just totally out of nowhere and unable to be explained physically. Then it can suddenly go away just as fast. I was like WTF because who knew this was a thing!

I have a Motorola G5 and it is my favorite phone I've had. I've had iPhone (though it was like iPhone 3, so a while ago) and Samsung and I legit love this one (I loved my old Samsung too). The camera is great - the only time I have issues is in low light when I try to use zoom.
I'm sure they have a newer model, since mine's almost 2 years old. I think it was $250-300.

This makes me feel better....I guess. I’ve had bad ringing in my ears since I got sick over Thanksgiving. I’m still trying to knock out the illness, and have taken a full round of abx and now on prednisone and albuterol (also not helping).
ESFy4m It's been ages but alyseya's apparently developing a new bag, and of particular interest to me, specificly mentions things POPing and also having better straps.
I got my old bag strap fixed. Just took it to a cobbler and it's not perfect but nobody is ever going to notice it. But I do kinda want to buy my sister a bag for her law school grad present...I don't think this timing is going to work though. And she'd probably prefer not leather anyway...since she's a vegan.
