What format are the books in your app? And how are you trying to get them on your Kindle?
I’m guessing they are kindle books since it said get your kindle book, but then the link said to open in the kindle app.
I just assumed they would show up on my kindle when it synced. But they don’t show up.
I'm wondering if they are PDFs or something, because I think to read a PDF on a Kindle device you have to email it to your kindle's email address or convert it (at least that used to be true). The app might not have that limitation.

Do you know how to access your kindle content through your amazon account online? If so, pick the books you want to add, click "deliver to device", choose your kindle, and it will send the book to your kindle immediately.
Find out what format they're in (it should be fairly obvious if you still have the email)- there are several formats Fire tabs/Kindle App on tablet/phone/other can open that the e-readers cannot. If it specified that you needed to open it in the app, it's likely not a e-reader compatible book. Did the email come from Amazon with the "Kindle" phrasing, or was this from someone else? I find that people are playing pretty loose with the "kindle" terminology, and I would not be surprised at all if there was that kind of misunderstanding.
Nonny, I haven't tried yet. I ended up finishing the one I was reading on my phone during Saturday. I did also check our kindle fire and they don't show there.
cmeon, they are emails direct from authors with a couple of format options.
