Who’s up and what are your plans?
I’m getting ready to meet a group for a 16 mile trail run. It’s cold (25 degrees) and supposed to snow later today. Winter is here! Afterwards I’m supposed to meet a friend for lunch.
We are at DS’s swim meet down in St. Mary’s. It’s a really nice pool! I’m kicking myself for not bringing outdoor running clothes. I brought stuff for the hotel gym, but it looks like I am going to be stuck at the pool. ETA: This is DS’s first time swimming in almost a month due to injury and he is scheduled for 4 events and then a 500 free. Yikes, lol. He was not going to miss his first travel meet!
I have 13 miles today, and its 18° out and i have a mental block. Then i have to come home clean a little, i have two showings today. I might take myself out to lunch while thats happening.
I'd hoped to ride outside, but little green specs of rain on the radar + 38 degrees means a block of tempo + shorter intervals trainer ride. Some friends are still riding ouside, but given I'm finally on the mend from the sinus plague I'd rather not take my chances with backsliding. Grocery shopping, some house cleaning, and general weekend "stuff" are also on tap.
Drinking my coffee, making my grocery list, and hanging with the little guy while Mr. GT is running a 5K (Brrrr.... NO THANK YOU). After I finish my coffee we will go to the grocery store. I'll try to get my run in before the snow starts, or maybe even during... the pup has a vet appointment and might end up finishing my run in the snow.
I’m up and snuggling the baby. She fell asleep on me while nursing and while I would love some coffee right now, I’m enjoying the snuggles. I’ll stream a BOD video and workout from home today. It’s almost too cold to go anywhere before the snow starts.
I slept really poorly so I think I'm taking another day off (I took yesterday off too). We've got a playdate, a birthday party, and grocery shopping to do today.
I need to get in the habit of waking up earlier on the weekends. H took the car in for an inspection so I'm home with the kids- we're still in pajamas. I plan on doing some yoga in a bit, then I might hop on the bike for a quick 30 minute ride. I'll run outside tomorrow.

I got in 6 miles with friends this morning. It ended up being pretty icy on the last 3 which was interesting. It was the first training run for the GB marathon and it was nice to see some familiar faces. We did breakfast and later today I have our neighborhood x-mas party.
I slept really poorly so I think I'm taking another day off (I took yesterday off too). We've got a playdate, a birthday party, and grocery shopping to do today.

I was up at 440 for 14 miles. I met up with some running buddies so that was great. The miles flew by. Looking forward to a chill day with homemade pizza for dinner tonight and watching the snow fall.

And Last night I slept from 4am-8:30am, then 11am-1pm. Bleh.
I was going to do a run with speedwork to but now I think I’ll just lift and climb.
