Friday- rest Saturday- yoga, for an hour (that’s a lot of yoga for me. I can’t even touch my toes. Lol.) Sunday- 5 mile run through the snow. This wound up being much harder than I anticipated, there wasn’t a ton of snow (2 inches maybe?) but it was just slippery enough that I had to be really careful where I stepped and keeping my balance until I got to the running trail which was mostly clear. Whatever I was doing to steady myself, I feel it in my calves.
I survived W1 of the HH novice plan. I was supposed to do my 6 miler with a mom's running group yesterday morning but I heard it raining when I let the dog out and decided to go back to bed. I've been getting the crappiest sleep since being off from school for a month. But I did do my 6 miles after I woke up. It was a gorgeous sunny day. Just got done doing my cross training on my elliptical for 30 minutes. I imagine I'll start to get bored of the elliptical and need to look for other workouts.
I stayed in my house for 48 hours which has literally never happened.
F: power flow Sa: 5 rounds - 15, 12, 9 cals on the bike with 30 seconds rest in between Su: 21-15-9 cals on the bike, weighted lunges right into 21-15-9 cals on the bike, KB swings
Ridiculous 8 hour, 11 mile, 4000+ ft gain hike through the snow. There was more than a foot in some places and the poor people in front had to break trail for the rest of us. But it was super pretty, so worth it?
Plus yoga everyday. Almost halfway through challenge!
