I am only mildly joking when I say that my last day of PIO and the day the girls learned to hold their own bottles have been the best days of my life 🤣🤣🤣
icedcoffee, congrats!! I did fine with them for so long then when it got to like the last four injections I was SO DAMNED OVER IT. Beautiful day when they are all done!!

I feel like the last week or so of injections have hurt more than the rest. So over it! Just did my last one! Yay!
Well wow. BFP at 6dp5dt. I didn’t “feel pregnant” which means nothing and I know that. I am of course thrilled but it also sucks that I’m too scared to be excited. This is my fourth pregnancy and I have one baby. I hope this will really be our second.

Yay!! I hope this is it for you! So exciting! Congratulations!
Congrats knx9211! Fingers crossed for great betas coming up!
I can't believe my leave is almost over! Back to work in 9 days. I'm happy to be seeing coworkers again, but nervous about the transition. We are trying to get her to take bottles, not very successful yet. When she finally latches on the bottle nipple she will give one or two good sucks, then pull back and kind of gasp, and we have to start over trying to get her to latch to it again. I ordered some preemie flow nipples to see if an even slower milk flow will fix the issue. The other concern is her sleeping, since I work nights my H will have to figure out how to get her to sleep himself (she usually falls asleep after last nursing session with me and I bring her to bed with me, we cosleep so she can eat another time or two overnight). He is scared to cosleep, but not sure if she will sleep by herself in a RNP or the PNP bassinet. We are thinking of getting a snugglenest or cubby cove so she can be in the bed if she wont sleep otherwise and he can be less anxious about it. He's taking a couple weeks off to figure out the transition, so hopefully we get it sorted!
pooh8402 I think you worked nights with your first, how did you do feeding during the day of your shift? I'm thinking of feeding her right when I get home, then having my mom give a bottle or two in the morning so I can get a solid block of sleep (she tends to do a couple long naps in the early part of the day), then possibly nursing/sleeping in the afternoon. I'm very lucky to have my mom willing and able to watch her all day at my house so I can try to sleep as much as possible.
No turboteal, I was on days with my first. I loathe the night shift, and only worked it briefly between kids when I moved cities and started a new job. I was already back on days before this pregnancy. And I had been on days for over a year prior to getting pregnant with my first.
I honestly don't know how night shift does it... work, sleep, feed/raise children. My condolences.
Congrats knx9211! Fingers crossed for great betas coming up!

My dad worked night shift with my brother and i and my mom worked 8 to 330 so dad was home with us. He said he always got home, fed us breakfast, played, then napped when we did. He then slept when my mom got home. It was only like 5 or 6 hours but he had those naps during the day. He also admits when i was 2 or 3 je would put on tv, we would sit in the chair, i would watch and he would nap lol.
They just called. 365. I was panicked at first because For DS it was around 1,000 but then I remembered that his draw was at 14dp5dt and today is only 11dp5dt. So I think we’re on the right track? My math sucks.
ah knx9211, I missed this! So excited for you! I think your second beta is today? I will be thinking about you!
It is!! Thank you! Just waiting for the call. Hopefully it’s soon.
Fingers crossed for you!! I’m sitting in the office waiting to get my blood taken for my beta. Since we are having arctic temps tomorrow I told my office I didn’t want to leave my house and they agreed to let me get my bloodwork a day early. Ha!
Point of story: 4,226. 48 hour doubling would have been 1,400. So... that's high. No such thing as too fast rising, right?
Other story: I finally called them around 2:30 because I STILL hadn't heard and was freaking the fuck out. She called me back and told me essentially that she forgot me. Kind of. She said she was doing all of these calls pretty early this morning and knew she had my chart open but got interrupted and forgot she didn't actually talk to me. GOD DAMMIT!

According to the Counsyl website my NIPT results have been released to my doctor. They won't be posted on their website until Monday. My doctor said she'd email me with results when she gets them. How long do I give her until I start calling and annoying them?
I mean, I understand why the results get released a few days after your doctor gets them, but.....I'm impatient!!!!
She said her email would just say weather the baby is healthy or not and I'd have to call a nurse anyway for the gender. I was going to call and ask them to put the results in an envelope for H to pick up because H doesn't want us to not find out together.
My OB's office has a portal, but they only upload stuff to it 1 out every 500th time.
There's really no point to this other than to vent.
