After the longest wait in history I got my first thyroid blood results back after being on medication for 5 weeks - much better number than before! I was technically in “normal” range but on the very high side. Now I’m right around the average with a little room to go up if going back on estrogen for this next FET makes it go haywire (which is the theory behind how my previously totally normal THS crept up and up in the course of 3 transfers.)

starryfish I am so sorry. I hope they are able to get answers for you before the D&C; I, too, would be hesitant to go under without knowing more of what was going on. When do they have the D&C scheduled for?
Waiting on nurse to call me back to schedule
I just got my bloodwork done yesterday again. Ultrasound was on Friday. I have also bled 3 times in the past three weeks. Ugh this sucks
baseline scan yesterday was 54 follicles and we've started stims. Estimated ER is 01/25. We also finally told my FIL and my dad what's going on and they seemed supportive but only my dad asked questions. My FIL literally had a jaw drop when I said we had male factor and still can't believe it's DH that's part of the issue. He actually said we need to have it retested because it's impossible.
Thank you everyone for your well wishes today! 😊 We transferred two embryos. I’m a little concerned about the embryo grades, they were 2BA and 2AC I think. I’m used to seeing 4s and 5s here that others transfer so I was a little surprised with the low number. I was really disappointed with my clinic and my doctor because I had several questions and they were too busy to really sit down and answer them.

How frustrating. Sending you lots of good thoughts and these take!

Snuggle in little embryos! I wouldnt be too worried about the grades. Honestly the scale is super subjective and people have success with “lower” grades all the time. I’m hoping this one (these two? Not sure how excited you are about the idea of twins ) gets nice and comfy in there. I’ll be thinking of you.
Were you able to find out stats for the full cycle? Were you able to get any embryos to freeze?

I've got my fingers crossed for you. I'm sorry you didn't have a better interaction with the staff, but I hope those little embryos get nice and comfy. Best wishes!

I only drink one cup of coffee a day, but I started cutting it with decaf this week. I'm almost completely on the decaf now and I can feel the headache creeping in. I hope this works. I don't know how much longer I want to wait before we start trying again. My cycle was only 25 days this month. I'm trying to give them the 90 days of the egg quality diet, and I don't need my body to start speeding up the process now. SAVE THOSE EGGS, BODY!
pickel, So exciting! If it helps, my clinic doesn't even give numbers. Just letters. We transferred an AB on Monday and our doctor described is as "beautiful", so hoping at least one sticks for you guys!! <3

Thank you! At this point, I will be super happy with however many babies I can get. LOL But seriously, we have talked about all possibilities and we’d be good with twins. I should get the full tomorrow. They said they were going to let them grow to day 6 and maybe some to day 7. She said we had 13 embryos growing but 2 would likely not make it.

That does help! I wish they would have just not told us. But then I’d be obsessing over what the grading might be. LOL

Wow, that's an amazing number of embryos still in the race! I hope your final report tomorrow is great. I only ask about your preference because we lean towards not wanting twins (for financial reasons) and yet we are putting in two embryos in Feb anyways. People keep being like YAY TWINS and I'm all, yeah, I hope only one sticks lol. I will be curious to see how your results go for my own "research" haha.

LOL! I know before I started this process I was all “Ooh TWINS!” at the thought but I read a few of the posts here of others that have had twins and got a dose of reality. Finances would definitely be tight but I worry about the physical toll it would take. I had horrible SPD with DS and before we lost baby girl, it started flaring up. Since we are doing donor eggs, I find some comfort in twins having each other in case they ever feel anything negative about the donor situation.

And FEB!! That’s so close!! Yay!!
Thank you, my meds are coming today so it's starting to feel real! I think twins in a donor situation with that consideration also makes a lot of sense, all else aside. We are really aiming to be one and done total, forever, so I think that colors my views a little - no mindset about "two for the price of one" when you're trying to buy one. But I am all in for this transfer, and if it ends up being twins I will take them without hesitation!!

I’m still slow growing and paying out the asshole in copays for monitoring 3 or 4 times a week. May start Centrotide tomorrow, retrieval May be pushed to Saturday.
I’m frustrated, emotionally spent, and broke (lol).
