What are you training for? Date? 15k, 1/28 half marathon, 3/10
Training schedule for the week? Tues: 3 miles Thurs: 3 miles Sunday: 8 miles
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I really can only realistically handle 3 workouts a week right now, which makes me feel guilty, but it is what it is. My 7 miler Sunday was a struggle; I'm hoping it was just an off run and now the start of big pregnancy slowdown now that I'm 20+ weeks. I really want to complete the half I'm signed up for in March.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Winter training has been kicking my ass. I have a call into a massage therapist and have been anxiously awaiting her call back.
Any AW's or brags? Rocked my long pace run this past weekend.
All the biking of all the miles. (double century 6/8) At this very moment - mostly trying to catch TriBestie on Rouvy levels....

Issues: Please see plan above. I feel like the problem is self evident. why is it winter? why don't I have a live-in nanny? Could be worse...could be the treadmill. at least I like the trainer more than the treadmill.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Only that I need to decide whether I am going to bail on PGH since we have a wedding that weekend. I am leaning towards Gettysburg as a backup. It's the closest to us and a week earlier so not a huge schedule adjustment. The only downfall is I've already BTDT.
Any AW's or brags? I killed my treadmill work out today. My mindset was to set the pace and do it, or fall off the fucking thing.
What are you training for? Date? Omg my (first) Trail 50k is Saturday!!!! I can’t believe it’s here!
Training schedule for the week? Umm Sunday I skied Mon: laid around on a snow day Tues: I’m in my pajamas at 6pm Wed: I should probably run a couple miles...but won’t get a chance and will NOT run on my treadmill bc it could hurt my shins Thurs: maybe 3 miles? Friday: rest Saturday!!!!! !!!
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Am I ready? I dk if I’m ready! Will I make the cutoff??!! That’s the big question! I could very likely get swept but I’m gonna go for that second loop anyway!

What are you training for? Date?
50k trail race, March 2 (if it's canceled due to weather, I have a backup race at the end of March). I also have a 10k trail race in early February, 10-mile road race in early April, and 10k road race in late April.
Training schedule for the week?
Mon: 30 minutes on bike, 8 mile run, short core workout Tues: 8 mile run with some fast intervals, strength workout Wed: spin class + core Thurs: 10-12 mile run Fri: 6 mile recovery run Sat: 18 mile trail run Sun: TBD, probably a recovery trail run or easy spin + strength workout
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away!
Federal Shutdown Day 25. My life is so weird right now. I'm in a status where I'm working part-time (without pay), but I don't have any kind of regular schedule. The flexibility has been helpful in some ways, like the past two days when I did my run at lunch time instead of at dark o'clock in the morning when everything was frozen and icy. But there are more negatives. My mood changes from day to day.
Any AW's or brags?
I've been good about maintaining my usual workout schedule, even if it means getting up early in the morning when I don't have to go to work. Most people in my running groups are working, and they're still doing their workouts early in the morning, so I'm still getting up early and joining them. And I'm still going to my early morning spin classes. And I am working at least PT, so I do have some places to be some of the time.

What are you training for? Date? VA70.3 (5/4)
Training schedule for the week? Mon - 30 minute bike/15 minute run brick Tues - rest Wed - swim and 45 minute run Thurs - Swim and 45 minute bike Fri - Strength and swim Sat - 1:15 trainer ride and strength Sun - 1 hour run and yoga
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I came down with a head cold and sore throat for my first week of training.
Any AW's or brags? I’ve actually been doing well (pace-wise) while running in Z1/Z2!
Training schedule for the week? It's testing week this week! Mon - swim test and strength, Tues - bike FTP test and abs, Wed - coached run session/power test, 3500 swim, Thurs - Strength ride/brick run, Fri - rest, Sat - 60 min run, Sun - 1:40 run.
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Nope.
Any AW's or brags? So far I have crushed my swim and bike tests. My swim improvement from my July test was just stupid good, and I'm completely blown away by my progress.
What are you training for? Date? Still TBD, either 25k or 13.1 trail race on Mother's Day weekend. Wondering if I can find someone to do it "with" me (even sign up for a shorter distance the same day).
Training schedule for the week? Mon - 5.5 mile trail run Tues - Crossfit Wed - 3 mile run Thurs - Crossfit Fri - Crossfit Sat - rest Sun - probably a stroller run, maybe also a family hike
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Wish I was getting a bit more sleep.
Any AW's or brags? I was 12 minutes faster on my long trail run this week than last week. Still pretty slow (1:34:10 for 5.5ish), but getting better. Definitely building running fitness and also getting way more comfortable running on uncertain footing. The faster time may also be because I did the trail backwards from last time - down and then back up instead of up and then down. Really having fun with the trail running.

What are you training for? Date? Women's national half marathon 5/5
Training schedule for the week? Sunday - snow shoveling, moving some furniture Monday - snow day, pt and our exercise stuff is piled in the garage, so nothing else Tuesday - yoga and swim Wednesday - volunteer in DS's classroom, so maybe some kind of video later. Or maybe not Thursday - pt and run Friday - I have to accompany DH for a small medical procedure, so maybe nothing again Saturday - maybe a short run? Sunday - yoga
Can you tell I'm having trouble being motivated this week?
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My hip is still messed up, my pelvis is still kind of facing towards the side, so unless we can get the muscles to learn to not do that, my long distance running days are numbered.
Any AW's or brags? If we can't re-train my muscles to move the right way, at least I'll still be able to swim?
I also found out this week that my yoga teacher is going to do yoga teacher training in the fall, and she encouraged me to sign up. So that might be something awesome to do with my time if I can't run
