Week of 1/21

Today: bagels and groceries, run, park/maybe a play date, make dinner. I need to complete some paperwork for C for the school district.
Tuesday: run and go to the courthouse to get both boys’ birth certificates. Parenting class at night
Weds: preschool and run
Fri: preschool, dentist appointment, run, chores
Sat: soccer, run, family time
Sun: not sure yet

It rained here a lot last week so I “only” ran 26 miles (had been running 40+), which would have been an awesome week last year. Needed an easy week anyways. Hoping to at least run 30 miles but pushing for closer to 40 again while we are healthy and the weather is nice! I already have 104.5 run miles for the year!

Tuesday-Friday: work, possibly needing to take off because @ daycare lady broke her arm and she's been admitted to hospital as of Sunday.
Weekend: nothing.

Morning Ladies!

I am off through Thursday. And work fri & sat! H has off all week too so we are just going to hang out, get a few things done & take it easy. I’m so excited to get caught up on some deep cleaning chores and just be for a few days

I have a few phone calls to make this week too.

Off today but DC is closed today too so I don't get my days off to myself anymore! Haha. Not much else going on this week, possibly game night with friends this weekend.

I got on antibiotics for this sinus infection thing I have going on and I'm feeling a lot better, minus the stomach issues from the medication. I'm happy my sinuses are mostly cleared up, I just have a bit of a cough still!

H and I are off today. Daycare is open, but we kept the kids home. It is 17 degrees right now, so we're just taking the day to relax and get some cleaning done. H is making dinner tonight- I'm relieved not to have that on my agenda at least.

The rest of the week is typical meetings after work, and I might try to grab a haircut appt for either me and/or G later in the week. It's the last full week of the semester before classes switch, so it's one of the busiest times for me. B has a birthday party on Saturday afternoon, and my parents are supposedly coming to visit on Sunday.

My washing machine is still broken, and won't be serviced until January 30th. I typically do a load a day, and now I'm having to hand wash only the essentials to get through. The sheets and towels desperately need to be cleaned, but I don't have the time to sit at a laundromat. So frustrating.

I have zero plans this week. No appointments, no errands, no obligations... I could not be happier.

I’m currently sitting in the rocking chair with L, drinking a white mocha that H went out and got for me, and watching Worst Cooks in America.

H is going to work out with a buddy tonight, so I’m planning to watch some chick shows while I have the house to myself.

Blue Moon - I’m sorry about your washing machine! That’s such a long time to wait for service on it. ☹️

I’m off today. I had a job interview earlier today and I think it went pretty well! DH is at work today so I’m just going to have a relaxing evening, including a bubble bath.

Tomorrow morning DH is going grocery shopping with me. We will probably go out for breakfast too. I love the guy but hate grocery shopping with him. He always disappears with the cart and the bill doubles.

I work the rest of the week.

We may have guests for the weekend. The next town over has a seafood fest and we are planning on going Saturday.

Blue Moon- so sorry about your laundry machine. I can’t even imagine how frustrating that is 🙁

wineandcheese- I hope the job works out! And good luck shopping with your DH- I would not like it if DH went shopping with me LOL. He seems to think food is much cheaper than reality...plus he would say, do we need that!?! To pretty much everything I put in our cart (mind you, we rarely eat out and our groceries are $350-400/month for all 4 of us).

Thanks guys. The good news is that the problem with the washing machine is likely covered by our warranty, but because of that we need to follow the steps and use the repair company dictated by the warranty. This ties our hands to their service schedule, but it's free so we're kind of stuck. I just remembered we have a stash of pool towels that are clean, so we can use those for bathing for now too.

I got a sudden-onset stomach bug today that felt like it came out of nowhere. Ugh. Pleeeeease don’t spread through my house! At least one of us has been sick at every moment of this entire winter so far. I am overrrrrr ittttt.
