A Monday feeling Tuesday

I was off yesterday so today is my Monday.

I live in the NE so didn't plan much due to the storm that was predicated. A friend came over for drinks Friday. P and I bought a Nintendo Classic, which has 30 games preloaded on it. We killed a few hours on Saturday playing games and then watched Antman.

Sunday a friend was supposed to have a football party but cancelled it. I made shortbread cookies (which were divine) and lasagna from scratch (including the noodles) which was also delicious.

Yesterday I read and lounged around the house as the high was like 9 degrees, lol. I made focaccia for the first time which was amazing.

I was off yesterday too. Getting up this morning was tough but I'm up and getting ready!

Yesterday I started couch to 5k, since I'm doing a 5k with a friend at the end of March. I should finish the program about a week before the "race" (although we're currently not planning on running).

Overall I had a really good weekend. Saturday the Women's March was good, but I kind of wish I'd spent a little more time with my activist friends instead of feeling like I was corralling cats with the scattered group I marched with. The turnout was smaller this year but it was still good.

Saturday evening I went to dinner with my dance crew and then we saw one of our fellow dancers in a musical. He's an amazing dancer! It turns out I also know the director of that musical. I hadn't seen him in a couple of years at least, so it was nice to see him and briefly catch up.

The only thing I really did Sunday was watch the lunar eclipse until the clouds got in the way. Did anyone else see it?

I did nothing all weekend except go see my dad fri and Mon for a few hours. Gianna was home Fri and Sat night. we laid on the couch and watched TV for 2 nights. It was awesome.

Picked some paint colors out for the house.

Sun Stefans brother was in from Switzerland so we went to his favorite Chinese place.

My weekend was a bit of work, grocery shopping and then a super long farewell brunch on Sunday for a friend moving back home to Australia. That meant Monday was a very hard work day of getting my brain to work. I also think I completely upset my diet, I needed all the things. Chicken sandwich, pizza, ice cream eep. Oh well today is a new day and I'll start over.

Tonight is one last get together with her. I am sad. However it does mean I think next December I'll be going to Australia.

She loves living in Hoboken. She isn't quite loving her new job, and still keeps an eye open for a new one. It still amazes me that she is living on her own, in a city, paying for everything. She is my baby! lol

My weekend was SO good. Friday night I drank wine and watched some DVR'd shows. Saturday I had to have a work call and do some actual work. Only about 2 hours total though and the guy I had the call with is one of my favorite people to work with so it wasn't bad. Saturday night I had dinner with a friend.

Sunday was football. We went to a different spot than usual and it was a ton of fun. My friends also decided they want to throw me a going away party so we talked about that some.

I am so ridiculously excited about my move - I'm ready to jump out of my skin!

I’m always a day late and a dollar short! My weekend was pretty solid. Took DD back to school on Friday and came home to clean the house. Saturday I went ice fishing (it was a work thing), had lunch with a friend, dinner with R, birthday party for R’s friend and then went back to R’s place where we got drunk and played dj (singing, “fighting” over who’s musical taste is better). It was a blast! Sunday was church, mall walking with R, watched his band practice, made dinner with him and then we watched a movie.

Ransoms: DS is in full on douchebag teenager mode lately. My friend completed chemo yesterday (yay!!!). I have fun plans for every day until Monday night and I’m already exhausted thinking about it all.
