Well, close enough.
It's been a busy week for us. E started with her new speech therapist and so far so good. She's using like 12-13 signs now and picks up new ones pretty quickly. She also has a few specific grunts that she uses to get her point across. She's been tested a ton this month and is delayed on expressive speech but above average for receptive speech (for both adjusted and real age, woot!).
She's been a little picky about fruit lately, so I took her to Aldi and got her raspberries, which she loves. Girl has expensive taste, eek!
I've been lurking over here for a bit, but I'd like to jump in, if that's ok. We did DE IVF and I got my first beta back today. Still kind of doesn't feel real!
thoseareradishes, I don't know your backstory, but it sounds like your DD is making some good progress, that is good news! My DS loves blueberries and could easily kill a whole pint in one sitting if I would let him. Its funny the random things they pick to like.
Hi theres a ton of stuff I need to do but I'm just sitting here monitoring contractions and willing them to go away. And trying to decide if I want to bug my coworkers and go in to L&D.
My bloomlife monitor says they've been 5-6 min apart for the last 2 hours but I haven't felt all of them. The ones I'm feeling are more like 7-15 min apart.
I'm in FL with L right now visiting my sister. We're going to Epcot tomorrow. I'm pretty excited. His stomach bug is finally 100% gone and I am so happy. Poor little guy was miserable for a while.
DH is in Orlando for a work thing, and we'll meet up again at the airport on Sunday to go home. I can't wait to see him again. And I'm looking forward to going home and getting back on our west coast schedule.
I'm a little over 15 weeks now, and I think my nausea has finally gone away. Now I'm just in the in-between until I feel some movement. I have my second tri screening next week.

thoseareradishes - I hope things continue to go well! My kids love raspberries too! pickel - congrats! pooh8402- sending "stay put baby" vibes. I had tons of braxton hicks that were way more noticeable with my second than my first, but were never actually painful, so I didn't worry too much. I hope yours settle down. kellikans - enjoy FL - it's freezing here!
School was cancelled here because it was so cold. We went to the museum here with heated underground parking since the kids were off.
I finally got my reproductive immunology appointment, but they are booking way out until July! It sounds like I may get in early due to cancellations.
I'm feeling a little like "where is the good in the world" tonight. I still feel like I'm grieving my 4th miscarriage and grieving for and supporting my best friend after her husband died suddenly. Then there was a story on the news this AM about someone at the hospital system where I work who was found barely alive, literally frozen to the cement in the parking structure very early this AM with a severe head injury, pinned under a car. She died shortly afterward. I learned later today that she is someone I know from work. Ugh, so awful.
Please tell me the amazing things happening in the world. I need to hear them.
I was given terbutaline, which worked at first then contractions came back. Then vistaril, which has worked so far. I was given the option to go home or stay for overnight observation, and H and I chose to stay. I knew if I went home, neither of us would sleep due to anxiety.

I hope you can get some rest tonight. Sending good wishes
