My gym is going to be closed for renovations for most of February, which is going to really mess up my routine.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I've been struggling with training and staying positive. Not sure the exact reason I'm pretty sure the one rest day a week is playing a huge part along with training during winter. So I decided to switch over to my friend Pfitz's 12/55 plan and see how things go on that front. I'm not used to missing runs/workouts and it's been a crap shoot the last few weeks. In addition with the crazy negative windchills this week my next few runs will be inside for sure.
What are you training for? Date? Pittsburgh Marathon 05/05
Training schedule for the week? M: yoga, 20 min cycle T: 11 mile run W: treadmill speed workout, cycle Th/F: easy run and cycle Sa: 10 mile prediction "race". This course is a beast and I love it as long as there is no ice. I'm not running up and down in the mountains with ice. Su: 13.1 race easy mode, signed up before I realized I'd be double booked.
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Nothing too terrible
Any AW's or brags? Just having fun with training right now. I guess that's an AW for the winter.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! It is so super freaking freezing. I hate the cold and don't want to leave the house.

What are you training for? Date? RNR DC half 3/9 Local 10k 4/28 (maybe) Pittsburgh Half 5/5
Training schedule: Monday: rest Tuesday: 50 minutes crosstraining Wed: 4 mile run Thur: crosstrain Fri: 4 mile run? Saturday: Work event, so just lots and lots of walking Sun: 7 mile run
Issues/vents/complaints: After my runs this weekend, my right knee has been twinge-y. It feels like IT band issues, which i usually only get in my left knee. So instead of running today I cross trained. Which seems to have helped, but now I’m nervous. I shouldn’t be having IT band issues at this point in training. Hopefully it’s just a fluke and the frigid weather played a part.
AW’s or Brags? I’m going to hit 100 miles running this month. I know that’s a lot compared to what most of you awesome ladies run every month, but it’s the highest running month I’ve had since 2016. I’m super excited!
Cap 10k on April 7th (with stroller!), 25k trail race May 11th
Training schedule for the week? Um...not happening as planned. I have a sick kid. Hopefully I will run with said sick kid (in the stroller) tomorrow. Probably 3 miles. Maybe I will make it to the gym later in the week if sick kid is better.
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! We were doing really well with not getting sick too much, but this is the second week in a row that I'm having to rearrange my life because of a sick kid. Last week was DS1, this week it's DS2. DS2 probably has the same fever-inducing virus that DS1 had last week, or at least that's what I hope because it only lasted a few days. Neither kid had the flu, so that's something. But when kids are sick, I generally sleep poorly, and I may be fighting it off myself. And when my sleep goes badly, I start eating really poorly, which just makes me feel even crappier. All of this does not make me feel like training hard. Sigh.
Any AW's or brags? Despite the above complaints, I feel confident that by April 7th I'll be able to not only complete 6.2 miles with a jogging stroller but possibly even feel strong/fast doing it. I'm tentatively going to try to break an hour, which means I need to get faster with a stroller. And I'm cautiously optimistic about the 25k, assuming I can manage to build up my long runs the way I hope to.
What are you training for? Date? DC RNR Half Marathon 3/9, Boston Marathon 4/15
Training schedule for the week? Mon - unplanned rest, Tues - unplanned rest, Wed - 6 mi?, Thur - 7 mi tempo + 1 mi warm up/cool down, Fri - 10 mi, Sat - 10 mi, Sun - Rest
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I've been sick the last three days and I finally feel well enough to do an easy run today. But fucking school is cancelled and I'm pissed. H is out of town, I'm working from home while I let the kids have as much screen time as their hearts desire. The weather is going to be pretty awful over the next day and I may do my tempo run on the treadmill tomorrow. It's going to be so cold that I don't want to leave my house, but I have a serious case of cabin fever. I'm going to attempt a run midday by circling back to my house every 1.5 miles to check on the kids.
Any AW's or brags? I ran 15 miles on Saturday which is my longest run I think since my marathon in fall 2017.
Training schedule for the week? Weds: 3 miles Friday: 3 miles Sunday: 7 miles
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! nope, except I continue to max out at 3 workouts a week due to time/motivation/energy. I've come to terms with it though; it is what it is right now.
Any AW's or brags? I ran a hilly 15k on Sunday, my longest run so far this pregnancy. And I got to catch up with bostonmichelle the whole time
M- strength T- 90 min trainer W - skipped my run because cold. Strength Th- 2 hours trainer F- rest Sa- swim, 1 hr trainer (blessedly short because..) Su- trail 10k. It's gonna be MUDDY
aw- still keeping on keeping on with all this trainer time and haven't lost my mind yet
Vent- tribestie made noises about backing off from our ride/race plan because of family crap. NO DAMMIT I JUST OFFICIALLY SIGNED UP!
I was supposed to do a 3 mile run on Tuesday but between volunteering, watching our neighbor's kid after mathpentathalon and then Bible study Tuesday nights, I didn't get to run. I think I"m going to have to do my Tuesday runs on Monday. Tried running at 4:30 one time and I was a hot, cranky mess by the end of the day. And I hate running solo in the dark because of zombies. Ran my 3 yesterday and 4 today. Debating if I should run my 3 tomorrow to make up for Tuesday but I have 9 miles scheduled for Saturday. Thoughts?
ETA: I'm doing the HH marathon training schedule without a marathon in mind. My neighbor who is also a runner thinks I'm crazy. I just want to try and finish the training schedule.
