Anyone have an LED vest they'd recommend? I'm looking at Noxgear on Amazon but ouch at $59. I don't want one that'll save me a few bucks but be annoying/not hold up. It's time to upgrade to something with lights all over, because drivers in my neighborhood are scary. Thanks.
I just use these little $10 blinking light clips on the front and back of my regular strappy reflective vest and see a noticeable difference. I get them at my local running store. I’ve had to replace them both once in about a year and a half. I also run with a Nathan flashlight that blinks red on the back.

I love the blinky clips too, definitely an option. We just lost our last one, it fell off a couple weeks ago in the snow. We'll probably find it in April! I might snag a couple more to tide us over. I use it for running and we both use it when taking the dog out, so lots of on and off.
I LOVE my Noxgear vest! I have a code for my MRTT group that I’m happy to share, that drops it to $40. I run early mornings, and wouldn’t do it without my disco ball vest. My whole crew has them now!

I don’t have one, but a couple people in my neighborhood do. I can see them with no problem when they are out running on the path behind my house - easily about 200 yards. I would get one if I ran in the dark more, no question.

Do you have a uniform store nearby that sells items for emergency service personnel? I got one from a store on sale for $25. Just need to make sure that doesn’t have screen printing on the back.

Wow that would be great if you don't mind sharing!

Noxgear seems to run sales pretty regularly. Go wander around their website so you have their cookies and keep an eye out for the ads on FB or other random places. Might as well make the creeper system work for you...
Or just use the MRTT code. Eventually I'll crack and get one, but for now I run with two other women who have one so I just make sure I'm closer to the curb than they are.

Do you mind sharing? I think I'm going to ask for this for my birthday. I want to get one for my dog too.

I’ll message you. The code brings it to the same price as the sales; you just don’t have to wait for one of those to pop. 😄

Another noxgear fan! I got it after a few walker/runners were hit nearby. I ❤️ it! It was pricey but I put some amazon gift cards to it that were gifts so that helped. I feel a lot safer since it really lights me up.

Ditto. I have one and love it. Also comes in handy when we have block parties and have to put the yellow slow down guy out. Are you paths well lit? I went running with the Austin branch of MRTT and a lot of the ladies had headlamps that were super bright and may be a great option as well.

No streetlights on our streets so nope, not well lit. Headlamp is a must!
As an update, I went with a Noxgear LED vest and I cannot believe I've gone this many years without one. I've noticed a substantial difference in how soon oncoming cars notice me, and also they make a MUCH wider gap when they move over. Gives extra piece of mind when I'm walking my dog too.

Thanks for the input.
It’s great isn’t it! I want the dog one for my dog too! But haven’t want to spend that much. I got her an led collar and I feel like we are a Christmas tree out there.
luckystar2, it is great! I would love one for my dog as well, but I think we'll also go with an LED collar or leash. We got a cheapo LED leash for Christmas and I do like that concept. I wouldn't mind the $ if Noxgear had a dog collar, but a harness is a bit more than I want to deal with for our dude. He's a tripawd so already has to get a special brace on to go out, and sometimes a harness for walking. It's an ordeal to get him ready but very worth it when we see him tearing around so happy!
