I've been up for a while. DD has decided to start getting up by 6am instead of 7am, blah. I'm going to go do my ride this afternoon when it warms up so I can ride my bike outside. I think I have almsot 2 hours and a short brick run after.
I am up and am heading out on my mountain bike today. It's supposed to be 60 this afternoon! Our low a few days ago was 21. I have no major plans today other than grocery shopping and maybe coffee w/a friend later on.
I've been up for a while, heading to basement for upper body strength/core, then will take the hound on a hike to celebrate the fact that it's above freezing temps for the first time in a while.
I canceled my spin class when I found out that the instructor I don't like is subbing today. I plan to do yoga this morning at home and then hit the gym this afternoon after I take my prep course.
I’m going to my CF gym today to do some squats with a pipe but not the bar since I don’t think I want to even try that yet. I’ll throw in some step ups, lunges, and those butt raise things. I’ve been doing a lot of low impact cardio and it’s felt great but I want to change it up today. I got the ladies done the first week of January and they are looking fabulous.
Swam before the kids lessons. Home now and supposed to get on the trainer, but the schedule is tight and I also have to do some chores. Not totally sure how this is gonna play out. Luckily it's a step back week for biking since I have a 10k tomorrow. (Trail, mud, with my mama, so really more of a speed hike than a race)
I lifted at the gym. Already had groceries delivered, meal prepped and getting ready to take DS to practice. Dinner with friends tonight!
I have to add this: I can’t emphasize how much having a cleaning service and grocery delivery have helped my family get it all done. If you are on the fence about how to “juggle” it all and can make this work, it’s worth putting in the budget. I end up saving so much money with grocery delivery too.
I had a hilly prediction 10 mile race today! I was 45 seconds off my prediction time which put me in the top 10, but not in the top 5 that gets prizes. I took the first half a bit easier and pushed on the tortuous hills in the end so a good workout for sure!
Ya'll...it's 65 degrees and sunny outside! I may have stayed on the trails a little longer than I'd planned. Glorious!! (Now, it's going to rain tonight and for the next 6 days...oh well!)

I'm doing my long run tomorrow because it will be 40s and sunny. It's gonna feel like a tropical paradise.
Was supposed to do 9 miles with a mrtt mom but we somehow missed each other at the Trail. So I ran it solo and finished it and ran most of it without a lot of walking. I’ve been working on slowing my pace to improve my endurance and it seems to be working.
