I read most of the article. I really disliked the book and the author sounds unstable.

The book was awful. The fact that they let this man get away with his lies and published a book is ridiculous. But then again, look at what happened with a Million Little Pieces and that guy admitting he basically made up most of the book.

ETA: At the time of commenting, I had mainly read about the lying about degrees and jobs and all of those things. The cancer lies are unreal. Think about how much he stole from the company by just disappearing for weeks. Ugh. And I totally agree with the expert quoted that blaming this on bipolar disorder is an affront to everyone with that disease.

That is absolutely crazy! Who makes up that their parents and brother died? And that they have cancer, multiple times? And then just doesn't go to work. And then also lies about their past jobs and job offers. Just crazy!! This book won for our book club - I'm thinking we should go with the second runner up book....I'll make a new post.

This book was wild. I read it and I was left thinking that I had no idea what I just read. It was so off. Now I see why. LOL!

I hated the book, and I'm understanding why now. He seems quite unhinged.
