What are you training for? Date? local half marathon, 3/10
Training schedule for the week?
T: 3 miles T: 3 miles S: 9 miles
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I had to stop twice during my 8 miler Saturday to pee. This could be problematic during my half as I'm only getting more and more PG.
Any AW'sor brags? Still running...might actually make this 3rd tri half marathon happen!
What are you training for? Date? DC RNR Half 3/9, Boston Marathon 4/15
Training schedule for the week? Mon - 7 mi, Tues - 6x1 mi 400 recovery + 1.5 mi wu/cd, Wed - 8 mi, Thur - 8 mi tempo + 1 mi wu/cd, Fri - 8 mi, Sat - 16 mi, Sun - Rest
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Snow/rain/freezing rain is coming tomorrow. I'm 17 miles into 59 mile week and I'm struggling with how I'm going to make this happen, especially Thursday's run. I hate the treadmill so much. But I may be hitting it up.
Oh and I can't stop eating Girl Scout cookies.
Any AW's or brags? I nailed my workout this morning and got the kids to school on time.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I've been sleeping like crap this past week. It's such a vicious cycle though & it's mostly works fault with a stressful project going on.
Any AW's or brags? Speedwork went really well yesterday. It's amazing what being able to run outside with clear roads can do for one's time and mental fortitude.

What are you training for? Date?
RNR DC half (3/9)
Local 10k (may walk this with a friend)
Pittsburgh Half (5/5)
Training schedule for the week?
Monday: Core, strength
Tuesday: 4 miles, stretching
Wednesday: 4.5 miles with hills
Thursday: 3 miles
Friday: Core
Saturday: 13 miles
Sunday: 3 miles, strength
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Core work is the worst. Strength isn't much better. But I find having to check in with a coach on if I've done forces me to do it. So maybe it's going to help me in the long run.
Also, why will winter not end?! It's likely I'll have to figure out my hill workout on a treadmill b/c snow/ice/cold are keeping me inside. BLERG.
Any AW'sor brags? Uhhh, nope, not this week. Just maintaining.
Training schedule for the week? M - rest T - 3 miles, strength training for runners W - rest Th - 3-4 miles, strength F - rest S - couple miles? S - 8 mile hike Plus yoga everyday, mix of prenatal and regular videos
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My right leg has been aching during most runs for a few months now and it isn't getting better. just the right one, right along the IT band. I assume it is PG related but I am not sure how much longer I will be able to keep running through it. Going to the chiro again to see if it helps. Plus it is cold.
Any AW'sor brags? 50 straight days of yoga and I am definitely seeing an increase in flexibility and strength, so that is fun. I am excited to try more advanced stuff like inversions after this kid is born.
What are you training for? Date? I can't say training since I've been out of commission since the first week of January but I think I may do a 10k I do annually.
Training schedule for the week? M-F: CF Sun: Run
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I'm just making my way back in to my regular routine and it's a little rough not being able to do everything I was able to do. It really is only pushing movements that seem to be the issue right now.
Any AW'sor brags? Nothing. I didn't stop working out when I was down but my workouts were much different than normal.
What are you training for? Date? Local 5k this weekend Maybe a 50K end of March??? Not sure yet!! Half marathon in May

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! A little pain in my hip. Going to work on stretching more.
What are you training for? Date? I am going to do a 10 miler on 3/3, but I haven't actually signed up yet.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I'm over winter, we are supposed to get snow tonight. I will probably work from home tomorrow if it as bad as they are forecasting.
Any AW'sor brags?
I haven't entirely lost my speed since Richmond/Kiawah. I actually hit my paces during my track work on Monday.
What are you training for? Date? Women's 5K, March 23
Training schedule for the week? M: rest T: climb, yoga W: run (5?), lift T: climb, run F: rest S: run 12, lift S: speedwork, climb
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I was out most of last week with this stupid cold, and I still feel not right. Worried it's going to turn into something else because that allllways happens.
Any AW'sor brags? Did a relay race on Sunday, and it was so much fun! I've never done a team race before. I had to adjust my A goal because I was still feeling lousy, but I nailed my B goal.
AND before the race teammate #1 was saying we had a good chance of placing in the female relay and I was (internally) like "yeah, right..." Well, teammate #2 ended up spraining her knee during the race, which put her off her target time by 3-4 minutes, and even with that, we ended up 4th overall for female teams, shy of 3rd place by only 29 seconds!
So first of all, I think I need to start setting more ambitious goals for competitions and/or believing in myself (lol), secondly, we are all excited to run it again next year with a goal to place.

I don't have any set races in my so I'm just trying to stay active through the winter. This week is looking like: M: 6 mile run T: 3 mile run + beer with running group W: off Th: Trainer ride F: Swim S, Su: TBD depending on the weather
I'm over winter. The ice has been awful here. Blah!
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! DS1 got the flu on Saturday, DD got it Tuesday, DH appears to have it today. There's a small chance that DS2 and I already had it and didn't know it, since we were sick right before DS1. I'm basically quarantining DS2 in his room when he's home, in case he didn't have it, because I don't want him to get it. Oh, and DH having the flu cancels DS2's first birthday celebration on Sunday. Luckily we're just doing a small thing at home. So anyway, I have been stretched thin with kids home sick. Hopefully I will get in a couple workouts in what's left of the week.
